I just turned 18 recently, and I have been looking to change banks. At the moment I use my parents credit union, but its not for me. I need a bank that will offer me a checking/savings account with good interest rates (considering the current market) and one which offers online banking and direct deposit. I didn't know where else to turn, which is sad.

It's sooo delicious...I've been looking everywhere for it! It's kinda like a big cinammon roll with cream cheese in it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please give me the recipe for it. Thanks!

My 2003 Honda Odyssey is making a weird nose when I try to start it. It will start, but acts like it doesn't want to. It takes it a few tries for it to catch.
My hubby is deployed and I have three toddlers, so it is extremely difficult for me to get to a mechanic....though I will if I have to.
I have to drive 1 hour to and from the airport tomorrow to pick up my father-in-law. Do you think it will make it there and back alright? Any ideas what it is and what I should do?

"The tardiness of solar cycle 24 indicates that we might be entering a period of low solar activity that may counteract man-made greenhouse temperature increases. Some members of the Russian Academy of Sciences say we may be at the start of a period like that seen between 1790 and 1820, a minor decline in solar activity called the Dalton Minimum. They estimate that the Sun's reduced activity may cause a global temperature drop of 1.5°C by 2020. This is larger than most sensible predictions of man-made global warming over this period."

http://news.independent.co.uk/sci_tech/article3223603.ece

By itself the Sun might cause a 1.5°C cooling, but combined with human greenhouse gas emissions and other factors, the cooling would be much less.

The question is, by entering a period of low activity will the Sun buy us some time to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions?

Cycles 24 and 25 would last until approximately 2030.

Do the IPCC projections take this into account?

My teen daughter needs a car. My friend has a 2001 Crown Vic cop car he's willing to sell for $500. It has 200,000 miles on it and his wife has been driving it and says it runs fine. But I don't have $500 to just dump on a bad deal. I couldn't afford alot of work on it. Any advice? Would YOU buy it?

I just started working at a new place and am attracted to a co-worker of mine. We have a lot in common and we recently became friends. we chat online during work and have even chatted at home. We stayed online for 3.5 hrs. the other night and it seemed like he didn't want to stop, even though it was 5 a.m. He recently asked me out to lunch and I went, but only then did he bring up a "fiance". Why did he wait so long? By his actions, I thought he was single. I asked him about his wedding online and he abruptly ended the conversation. Now, he won't talk to me nor message me, but I'm not doing anything either. I AM attracted to him, but I am married (unhappily) and I don't want to jeopardize his relationship either. I still want to be friends with him. Should I initiate a conversation just to relieve this awkwardness we're in or just remain how I am? Did he want anything from me?
