If an angel came to your door and said 'I am an angel', would you find a scientific explanation for that? If God smashed your head with a note that said 'I am God' and then you looked up and He was in the sky smiling at you, would you have an explanation for that? Just curious.

P.S. Since I know its EXTREMELY hard for atheists to NOT be sarcastic,

Iran's President, Ahmadinejad has told quite a few bold faced lies in the past.

Recently, he has told the world that there is no such thing as a homosexual or gay person in Iran.

He has expressed so much anti-american sentiment and religious fundamentalism over the years.

Recently he tried to take Hugo Chavez under his wing and posed for photographs raising their collective fists against America.

Now, I don't particularly like George Bush as a President, and I think he's made some awful choices... I plan on voting Democrat next year.

But do you really think that George Bush is far off base by not trusting this anti-american liar?
It's probably the first thing I've agreed with him on.
Sanction the hell out of Iran for all I care... that guy is a bigger jerk than Bush!

Now I have to go pick up the package myself. They did not leave a notice either. The carrier did not even come by. Is there anything I can do? No one will be home and it requires a signature so I will have to go pick it up. My wife had taken the day off to be there when it arrived.

A 70-year-old man went to the doctor's for a physical. The doctor ran some tests and said to the man, "Well, everything seems to be in top condition physically, but what about mentally? How is your connection with God?"
And the man answered, "Oh me and God? We have a really tight bond, he's so good to me. Every night when I have to get up to go to the bathroom, he turns on the light for me, and then, when I leave, he turns it back off."
The Doctor was astonished. He called the man's wife and said, "I'd like to speak to you about your husband's connection with God. He claims that every night when he needs to use the restroom, God turns on the light for him and turns it off for him again when he leaves. Is this true?"
And she said, "That idiot, he's been peeing in the refrigerator!"

I've auditioned for a role at the community theater (belonging to a community college I attend) a few days ago. I'm actually in one of their plays right now. It takes seven weeks, and at least three hours a day, four days a week. It's hard work, though I like it.

But I'm starting to feel, is this worth it? Because I'm not even the main character, and I'm not theater major. My major has nothing to do with acting. I'm getting little to no transfer credit from this, though I guess I could put that I was in a play in my transcript.

Please help!

400 people came to last years winter play at a high school. The ticket price was $5. This year, the Drama Club is hoping to earn enough money to take a trip to a Broadway play. They estimate that for each $0.50 increase in the price, 10 fewer people will attend their play. (determine how much the tickets should cost in order to maximize the income from this years play) x = #of $.50 price increases.

There are certain bands that even if you never heard one od their songs, you knew it had to be them because that band has such a distinct sound.

So what are some bands that have such a distinct sound (not just vocally) that there is no way you can mistake them for another band?

Boston and The Doors for me
