ok so yesterday at class my friend start complain a little about her lip which was hit.


i asked her wat happened
she said that her stepfather hit her in the face about 3 times.she has a minor brusie in her eye too.

There is a kindergarten building next to my school. Nuns used to live in the upstairs of the building. The teachers believe there is a ghost in there because when they are alone in the building they hear foot steps. Today me and my friend when to the bathroom upstairs in the building.(which quite creepy) We were the only in there. When I was washing my hands (my friend was right next to me but facing toward the stalls) when I here a door opening and closing. My friend told me to turn around because the stall door was opening a closing by itself. I turned around and then it stopped. Me and my friend think there is a ghost nun living in the building. Next time we go there we want to try to make contact with the ghost to prove there is really a ghost. How do we make contact with the ghost?

I recently bought a 1993 Toyota Corolla with 168,000+ miles on it for $19,750, which is somewhat expensive compared to older Tercel's with similar mileage. But the seller, who approached me in a parking lot, said the car had been blessed by Pope John Paul II on a US visit several years ago, hence the 'salvage' title. Am I correct in my understanding that a 'salvage' title indicates the car has been blessed, or 'salvaged' from a life of sin, by a major religious figure? The car needs new shock absorbers all around, and has a cracked head, but is otherwise in fair condition. D

I genuinely do...I'll tell you why...people have always had religions..different religions..over the millenia..and they believed in their God and their rituals..
It just strikes me that a whole lot of people are spending a lot of effort on rituals...and we all cant be right...the seik not cutting their hair ...and the muslim praying 5 times a day..and the jew being circumcised..the catholic not using contraception..etc etc..you get my point..
religion just seems to fill a social need...I'm not talking about God here guys...just religion..if you can seperate the two in your mind?

I need to get the wood im purchasing level and smooth so I can glue pieces up next to eachother, and so things come out flush. I dont have the money right now for the big boy planer or joiner, but was deciding on the following.

Should I spend the $150 to $200 to get a hand held powered planer, for example the Dewalt DW680K,

-or-

should I get a very nice hand held manual planer and try to become proficient with that.

What do you think? What has your experience been with powered vs. handheld manual. Could you achieve the same results?

An old man decided his old wife was getting hard of hearing. So he called her doctor to make an appointment to have her hearing checked.
The Doctor said he could see her in two weeks, and meanwhile there's a simple, informal test the husband could do to give the doctor some idea of the dimensions of the problem.

"Here's what you do. Start about 40 feet away from her, and speak in a normal conversational tone and see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

So that evening she's in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he's in the living room, and he says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."

"Honey, what's for supper?" No response.

So he moves to the other end of the room, about 30 feet away. "Honey, what's for supper?" No response.

So he moves into the dining room, about 20 feet away. "Honey, what's for supper?" No response.

On to the kitchen door, only 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for supper?". No response.

So he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for supper?"

"For the FIFTH time, CHICKEN!!!!"

I'm looking for the classics, NOT hymns or origional songs (like Merry X-Mass War is Over, Santa Baby or Feliz Navidad), not that I don't like those kinds of songs, I'm just looking for clean, pure, origional classic christmas songs.
