I need to find a way to clear all programs all memory, everything so I only have a new slate to work with. Without having to buy anything.

Ummm, Well that would mean that u have to do a factory reset but that is bad. maybe you should contact your computers maker. You might be able to talk to someone about it.

A system recovery will do a lot to set it to factory settings, but you have to becareful, this is only for a last resort....Be sure to backup every thing first!!

If you have all valid CDs, and a lot of confidence in yourself, you can format the hard drive, then reinstall everything.
