I recently bought a used 1963 Allis Chalmers D17 series 3 tractor. It has a FEL. When I raise the bucket, it slowly comes down at the rate of about 1" per minute. It also doesn't seem to have enough lifting power as I expected it to have for a 54 HP tractor. It's probably safe to say that there is some sort of internal leak somewhere. How do I determine where the leak is? It could be in both the cylinders or perhaps it could be in the pump.

Once I determine the source of the leak, what should my next step be? Can the cylinders or pump be repaired/rebuilt, or should they be replaced?

I understand from basic Physics at school that an item must travel at a particular trajectory around another item floating in zero gravity in order to be picked up into orbit. I was taught that satellites are maintained in orbit through physics alone, because they are caught in the gravitational field of Earth, while traveling at a particular angle, which prevents them from ever colliding with the planet. I was also taught that gravitational fields only occur in zero gravity. Does this mean that any item traveling in zero gravity could take things into orbit? For example, could an astronaut, floating in space, place small items into their own orbit? Is orbit determined purely by the size of the orbiting item in relation to the item it orbits, or does an item have to be a certain size to develop or enter orbit?

Let me explain, if I even can. Often I will have an experience of deja vu, but it is not really my current situation that is familiar, but I will "see" a situation in my mind and when I see that situation, I will feel like I have seen that situation before. I know this sounds kinda strange, but it happens. Then, later, I will experience this situation and the feeling of Deja Vu will be very strange, like seeing your reflection in opposing mirrors, it just keeps going forever. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I've been using Dynamo, which I think is one of the cheapest you can find out there. I'm wondering if it cleans as well since my towels tend to regain their 'used' smell after only a short time using them. I always hang up wet towels to dry them, but it seems they get smellier quicker after each wash. I don't seem to have that problem with clothing, but the concept is the same...if my laundry isn't getting clean enough, do I really want to wear it?

Any suggestions aside from trying every detergent out there?

I initally signed a 6 month lease for a house and the landlord never had me renew it. I continued to live there for another 3.5 years. Common courtesy, I gave him a 30 day notice. He said he received my notice on Oct. 2 and that was not 30 days and so I owe for the month of November, even though I moved out on Oct. 31. Do I have any chance of successfully suing him for my deposit check? It has been over 30 days and I have never received the security deposit back.

Japanese student in USA classroom

It was the first day of school and a new student named Suzuki, the son of a Japanese businessman, entered the fourth grade. The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American history:Who said 'Give me Liberty, or give me Death?'She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Suzuki, who had his hand up."Patrick Henry, 1775."She said. "Very good!" Who said 'Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?"Again, no response except from Suzuki. "Abraham Lincoln, 1863", said Suzuki. The teacher snapped at the class,"Class, you should be ashamed.Suzuki, who is new to our country, knows moreabout our history than you do.She heard a loud whisper: "F**k the Japs""Who said that?" she demanded.Suzuki put his hand up. "Lee Iacocca,1982"At that point, a student in the back said, "I'm gonna puke [vomit]"The teacher glares and asks "All right! Now, who said that?"Again, Suzuki says, "George Bush [Sr.] to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991"Now furious, another student yells,"Oh yeah? Suck this!" Suzuki jumpsout of his chair waving his hand andshouts to the teacher,"Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!"Now with almost a mob hysteria someone said, "You little ****. If you say anything else, I'll kill you."Suzuki frantically yells at the top of his voice, "[California Congressman] Gary Condit to Chandra Levy 2001." (The teacher fainted.)And as the class gathered around the teacher onthe floor, someone said,"Oh ****, we're f**ked!" and Suzuki said, "Americans,... in Iraq
