Only if he skips town and disappears or gives up his job and lives under a bridge.

well he can work under the table or skip jobs but in the end it will bite him in the ***. If he works under the table they will use minimum wage as a guide to set up child support so you will at least get something (if you live close by and can video tape him working under the table that will speed up the process) and if he skips jobs alot after he gets 5000.00 behind it will be a federal offense if he lives in another state. Hell even if he offs himself you will get child support from Social Security. No worries he will pay sooner or later. Also if he is 500.00 or more behind in child support on the 31st of August they will take any tax return he has comming and apply it to child support. as well keep your eyes and ears open if he ever wins the lottery or gets an insurance payoff notify child support enforcement and they will take that too. Good luck to you and yours!

THAT IS NOT TRUE!!!! THat was true for many years but ended a while ago. The non-custodial parent always has to pay child support and many companies, counties will take it out of their paycheck!!!!
The only way not to pay is to quit working or move out of state.

If you get public aid, the state will file for child suport on your behalf for your kids. When your husband or kids father goes to court, he must show proof of his income. If he has no income, the judge will give him two weeks to provide it or a job. If he does not he will have to bring his tooth brush, because he's going to jail.....

No this is not true - unless he decides not to work - and even then the court is going to order him to pay child support based on last years earnings. If he doesn't pay his child support, then he can lose his drivers licenses and even be put in jail.

If he gives up all rights to the child, but even then most courts will have him pay. They are his children...and he has to pay for they. No matter what.

He's living in lala land. Child support is not optional. Maybe he's thinking of quiting his job but that's a dumb move because they'll still make him pay the minimum. He's very misinformed.

no matter what he say he can't get out of child support! Even if he quits his job it keeps adding up for him so let him say whatever and you show him!Till the day his kid turns 18 he will pay or go to jail!

No he is just trying to intimidate you. You are entitled to money if you have the kids so don't go soft on him and make sure you get the child support that you deserve. The judge will rule in your favor. He's just mad because you have that much power. Don't let him fool you!!!

He has to pay child support, but you will probably have to stay after him through the court system to make him do it. The best way is to have it garnished from his check. Your lawyer will know what to do to get that started.
