Do you think that when greeks stopped worshipping gods and goddesses (other countries as well) due to scientific evidence that today's god and jesus could be explained with science? Such as greeks myth on how echo was named echo things like that. When a god was angry he would make volcanoes erupt but it was pressure from the earth's core. But do you think that people could stop worshipping gods in general? Or do you think that people created gods so that they don't feel lonely. I believe that the big bang theory is baloney how can you get mass universes out of one atom spliting. I think there is something out there bigger than us not necessarly aliens but we didn't just pop outta nowhere and with all the religions in the world how do you know which one is the right one leading you to heaven and not hell.

I was canning for the first time and decided to make jalapeno jelly but it never set. The recipe I used wasn't very specific, i.e. it didn't say whether to drain the can of jalapeno's or not, and boiling times weren't listed. I thought I followed the recipe, I suppose I could have boiled it a bit longer. Is is possible to empty to contents back into the pan, add another pack of liquid pectin and re-can (new lids of course)? If the ingredients will help they are as follows 3 bell peppers minced, 2 (4oz) cans jalapenos, 6 1/2 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups distilled wht vineager, 1/2 tsp cayanne, 1 (6oz) pack liquid pectin, and 5 drops green food coloring. These were to be gifts and I'd prefer to give jelly not green syrup. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I am going to be buying a new desktop for Christmas soon. It will most likely be Windows Vista, but which version of Windows Vista should I get?

There are 4: Basic, Premium, Business, and Ultimate (Basic>Ultimate is like a $200 upgrade!!)

I want to experience:
- Cool, new features that were not found in XP (like that 3D flip thing!!)
- Good security and easy to use (more or less)
- Cheapest one with most of these features above and possibily more (without tremendous increase lag)

Which one would be best for me? And why? (Especially for Ultimate... IF I am going to upgrade to Ultimate, that's an extra $200 and I want to know what I'm paying for otherwise it's like a rip-off!!).

With most of the other questions on this popular topic. I cant seem to wonder if he is the egotistical prick of the chain of command. Does he think about it or just act out like a child? Does anyone else think that he is in charge and others will continue to bow down at his feet?
How in this day and age could we as a population of the USA have gone through the 70's and still allowed this to happen? Are we still as evolved as we were 30 years ago? We have technology with a fault here and there. Yet We cant seem to think on our own or as a whole and make the right decisions for our children's future. What in the heck happened to that idea that seems to have been put into motion.
Boy it must be that hard to stop the pollution process and make much needed changes that's other wise devastating effects on the very near future! m I the only one that wants to grow up and evolve? Or is this just another unheard cry, (as we slowly suffocate ourselves)?

i went to he doctor today for my babys 3month check up and shots. she was asking about him and we were going over everything and she said "o and remember to keep him on his side or back while sleeping, cause that can lead to SIDS in a baby this age."
Well, just so happens my baby is a stomach sleeper... he sleeps so much longer and better but my doctor has me freaked out now.

First and foremost, I don't consider myself religious. I have been hearing a lot of controversy about the Golden Compass movie coming out. Some people are enraged because the movie supposedly has atheist undertones and may "promote" atheism to children. For those who take umbrage at this, why is promoting atheism wrong, and promoting Christianity right?

Okay. I just got done cheering at school and I was very very upset. My best friend made us look bad by calling bad cheers. She doesn't know a thing about basketball. I have to tell her every two second if we are on offence or defence. She's co- captian! She needs to get it together. I feel bad because it reflects on us. Ok so I get anxiety attacks almost everyday therefore I feel nausous all the time. I get sick at least once a day usually and I wake up at 6am and I usually don't eat until I get home from school at 2:45-3. I am 15 5'4 and already a little underweight at 95-100 pounds.
