Possibly. But a 'fact-based' way of life is a lot easier for some. There's too much to discover and not nearly enough people searching.

Jesus lived as a spirit before he came to teach and his father had been alive for time unknown before his creation.so you can assume if christ dosen't know all there is to know about God .Then it's not an excuse for anything but a reason to keep looking for the deeper spiritual meanings. As paul said we are not to just drink the milk as babies but to progress to the meat or deeper understanding. It,s not a secret ask for holy spirit to help you understand the bible. With prayer your brought in to a relationship with Jehovah your creator then you start to gain insight.

Humans can discover only the material things and what is hidden under the earth or in oceans.
They could never had known what they can not see like God, Angeles, ancient people, future ressurection of humans, Day of Judgment, Satan, heaven and hell. So God let humans know through His chosen Prophets who their creator is, who protects, nurtures, feeds and guides them spiritualy, to know God and the ways to glorify His blessings upon Humans.

Christians, orthodox Jews, Muslims believe that thay have it all figured out in their sacred books so they don't look around!
Only a dedicated open minded non-religious minority is on the look out for any discovery!
