C...an atheist doesn't pray. LOL I get a thumbs down for that?

Receiving whatever it is you prayed for would be nothing more than a coincidence.

Case in point. If I pray tonight that I'll win the lottery tomorrow then go and buy myself a lottery ticket and happen to win the multimillion dollar jackpot that doesn't prove to me that God exists. It just proves to me that the state lottery isn't a scam and people actually do win. I happened to get to the right lottery ticket retailer at the right time and produced the right numbers in which to win. God didn't nod his head a la Jeanie and magically give me the correct numbers because I prayed for them.

If my mother had a heart attack and was hospitalized and I prayed for her recovery and she indeed gets better that's a coincidence too. Her recovery was due to the skill of her doctors the speed in which she was rush to the hospital and her own health status. It doesn't prove to me that God exists.

Praying is a waste of time. The hard work of one person does more than the prayers of millions.

God exist if you have faith in your prayer even as an atheist. Believe that you are worthy to receive an answer to your prayers. I don't go to church anymore, but I always ask guidance on the start of my day. I bid you love and peace. PS> Please accept my apology to these who insulted you here.

It would mean, the Atheist answered His own Prayer; He would be praying to Him "Self" because "Self" is the god of an atheist;

Atheists don't pray. I'm not religious, but I know a lot about religion. If an Atheist prayed and it worked, that would probably mean, to their judgement, that what they got was by coincidence because they wanted it enough to make it happen.

D. It was a coincidence. And it doesn't matter because praying to God necessarily implies that you believe in him, so, by doing so, you are no longer an atheist.

Well, atheists don't pray. Assuming they do, they would say it's coincidence or destiny or any other reasons other than that points to God's existence.

D. If an Atheist prays it means he isn't really an Atheist.
