Okay. I just got done cheering at school and I was very very upset. My best friend made us look bad by calling bad cheers. She doesn't know a thing about basketball. I have to tell her every two second if we are on offence or defence. She's co- captian! She needs to get it together. I feel bad because it reflects on us. I can already here the crap people are going to talk at school tomorrow. And to top it off she doesn't even care. What should I do? Thanks.

I had to yell at her to call out cheers. She's so shy when she's a leader! I CAN'T TAKE IT!

How'd she get on the team??

If she honestly can't cheer, she shouldn't be on the team making you all look bad.

How did she get to be co-captain if she is shy when she is being a leader, and doesn't know what she is doing? I feel bad for you, because you are in a tough position, and you are doing the right thing to care about what the group looks like. Can you try to talk discreetly to the other co-captain, or maybe better, to an adult advisor, about the problem?

Set her aside and talk to her with KINDNESS. Do not go off on her and talk down to her like she's stupidest person on the planet (even though you may feel that way right now). Everyone makes mistakes. She's your friend and needs some help. Give her hints about which cheers to call out.

Some things are much more important in life. There"s enough tense and stress as such. So don't worry and just make the best of it how frustrating it may be right now.

You need to tell her to focus on to what activity you are doing. Otherwise you cheer team can get mad at her and she will have enemies.
