I go to our local Christmas tree lighting ceremony. There is a cute little concert put on by a local elementary school. We have cocoa, cider, all is good. Then they sing...

Light the Menorah was the second song. I thought it was great and was very happy they were including another religion to be represented. However, there wasnt ONE Christmas song that spoke of Christ at all! However, we get to have a song about Lighting the Menorah which is highly religious to the Jews. It cannot be a serparation of Church/State issue otherwise they would not have included the Menorah song. What do you all think of this...as Christians and nonChristians?

Why are we systematically having any representation of Christ in Christmas stripped from everywhere public?
Even our secular establishments (the great god called American Consumerism) has shunned the word Christmas;

If ALL of the whole numbers [0, 1, 2, 3, … , infinity] were written out and spelled in American English (and there are an infinite number of them, including such monsters as five hundred sixty-three trillion two hundred forty-nine billion sixty million one hundred sixty-seven thousand four hundred and nine [which looks like 563,249,060,167,409]) – and then alphabetized,

(a) what would be the first number on the list,

(b) what would be the second number on the list, and

(c) what would be the last number on the list (as if you’re ever going to get there – bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!).

Note that if we were only alphabetizing 4, 5, 14, 50, 60 and the monster, they would go fifty, five, [the monster: five hundred…], four, fourteen and sixty ( = 50, 5, [563,249,060,167,409], 4, 14 and 60).

My former employer did not like me because of my ethinic background. It was not the person that hired me, the company switched hands. I was fired for something, that according to the company handbook should have been a written warning. Other employees violated the same rule and nothing happened to them. I know NYS is an at will state, but I want to know if I could pursue this legally.

There will also be a movie theater, bowling alley, regular theater which holds plays and performances, a pet store, a Music Den, 2 shoe store's, and a Sports Authority.

how many of you are as mad as i am, that nobody is doing much about the whole global warming issue? ppl jus need to wake up and realize that the world is not just going to keep reproducing all of the natural gases and fuels for us to use up and put into our atmosphere. when we have other choices, other options to chose from...why are we chosing the ones that are ruining our enviorment for this generations' future? even tho some car and truck companies such as ford, GMC and dodge are making bio friendly vehicles, what about everybody else? what about all of the factories, the motorcycles, the burning of harmful things such as plastic? when we could use recyclable items such as paper or cardbored, why do we chose 2 use foam? because its prettier? think of how pretty our eath was 10, 15 years ago, and what its going to look like 10 to 15 years from now. think of our own planet's future. what do u have to say as 2 the ignorance of those who make harmful decisions for our plaents wellbeing?

Thinking of the finite genetic combinations there are do you think it is fairly reasonable to assume that out there everyone has someone who looks uncannily like them. I am not talking about that they will have the same blood group and everything but just general looks. the fact that celebrities generally all have lookalikes of them supports this idea a bit.

Hiya, I'm 15, but 16 in March.
I have been looking around for a Saturday or after school job and have ran out of ideas! I've been to clothes shops in town and they don't employ 15 year olds.
What else should I try?
Is there anywhere you know that is employing 15 year olds, or should I just wait a few months until I am 16 and get one then, although I need money now!

Oh and I don't really want to be doing a paper round or walking peoples dogs ( I have to do that with my dog! )
