How and why is it that offices, councils etc totally outlaw any illusion to Christmas (for fear of offending non Christians) yet high street shops and TV advertising positively gorge themselves on the Christmas theme with abandon?

The dumb bear and the bright bunny are walking through the enchanted forest when the Fairy of the Forest appears to them in shimmering light.
"My friends!" she exclaims, "your luck day! I am here to grant you three wishes each!"
"Do-oooooooh!" coos the bear in wonder, "Me first, me first!"
"Okay, what is your first wish?"
He thinks for a moment and then says, "I want all the other bears in this forest to be lady bears!"
"Granted! and now you Mr Bunny?"
The bright bunny thinks for a bit, "I wanna crash helmet!"
"A crash helmet? What a waste of a wish! However, it's been wished for and I can't undo it." and PING, a crash helmet falls at the bunny's feet. He puts it on.
It comes to the second wish, so the dumb bear says, "I want all the bears in the SURROUNDING forests to be lady bears!"
Ping, all the bears in the surrounding forests are lady bears. So it is the bunny's second wish.
"I wanna motorbike!" he says eagerly. PING A lovely shiny motorbike lies resting beside him.
The dumb bear thinks then says, "I want ALL the other bears in the whole wide WORLD to be lady bears!" PING! All the other bears turn into lady bears.
"So what you gonna wish for now?" the bear asks the bunny.
The bunny jumps onto the motorbike, revs it up and as he speeds off he shouts, "I wish you were gay!"

It is a beautiful sunny day with a temperature of 27 degrees F and a high of 35 degrees F with slight winds from the NW at 15 miles per hour here in New Richmond, WI (about 15 mile to the east of ST Paul/MPLS). I am going for a motorcycle ride that will guarantee at least 125 miles. Would you like to join me? C'mon, it isnt that bad.

My dealership is recomending a front axel fluid change / service at 12000 miles for my 06 Rubicon. This runs about $400.00. With so few miles I am sceptical of the need but don't want to void my warranty. Also it is not indicated in my service manual as needed at this mileage. I would like an opinion on this from someone who works in the industry.

I have been taking Wellbutrin xl for 6 months now. It helped at first, but pooped out on me in a BIG way. Im back to sleeping all the time, mising appointments, locking myself up in my apartment, not answering my phone or returning phone calls. I have no motivation, and I dont want to be touched or have sex at all. These are the things that I was doing during my many severe bouts of depression. Where is the energy and refreshed feeling that I keep hearing about? After doing soem research on the internet I came across some information that stated that although in theory Wellbutrin sr and xl are supposed to be exactly the same, according to majority of people who tried both, the sr version worked much better than the xl. I was switched to the sr version today, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it works better. Im getting desperate. I think it has to do with the fact that the sr is released over 12 hours as opposed to the xl 24 hours. more in blood stream at one time.

I'm a psych major, and am applying to PhD programs in marketing. My undergraduate GPA was 3.5 (top-tier public school), and my master's GPA was 3.6 (top-tier private school), both in psychology. My major/psychology GPA is more like a 3.80, however. My GRE 530verbal (bad, I know), but 780 quantitative, and 6.0 (perfect) analytical. I have strong research experience including my master's thesis presented at nationwide conferences, and strong letters of recommendation.
Obviously, Chicago GSB Harvard, and the like will be really really tough. But which other ones? Again -- PhD marketing, not MBA. Thanks!

I like this guy, he asked a friend of my what he has to do with me (because he knows that I like him) and he answered to him: you should go out with her when you're both not drunk!
The next day he send me a text message, but it has been 4 days and he didn't send me anything back!

Here's the whole story. My sister caught my best friends boyfriend with her (BF) sister. Messing around when they were drunk. He denied the whole thing and my best friend believed him. I don't but anyways. She's mad at my sister and now my other sister is getting married. we are all in the wedding party and my best friend is trying to make plans to plan the wedding at her place excluding my other sister. I thought that was totally rude so I called her out on it and said that she shouldn't try to do that. She got mad at me and now is mad and ignoring me.
Shouldn't she be happy I was honest and told her what others (I wasn't the only one who thought she was being mean) said about her. So she's happy with everything but she is my very best friend and now I feel like crap. Should I apologize or just move on from this immature so called best friend of mine. I'm not going to let someone treat my sister like crap because She thinks the mess around was a rumor.
