Am going to eat Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with my guy's family....have never met them before and I freakin' volunteered to bring a side! I thought of things that will be easy...so I can't possibly mess it up and embarass myself.....but then that could look bad, too...like I didn't really try. Ideas on what to make? Mashed potatos and green bean casserole are not an option since someone else is already bringing those.....I kinda was thinking about something simple and common....but with with a spin on it...like I can make really good home made mac and cheese using....but my guy seems to be turning his nose up at it.....or cream corn....where I put frozen corn in the crock pot...add some pepper...some garlic powder...a stick of butter and a block of cream cheese....help?

I got a credit card 5 months after my 18th brithday and I told myself to only use it to buy something for like $15 and then pay it off. My car started to mess up and I had to take it to the shop. I'm full-time student and I work part-time so I don't have money laying around to fix my car so I used my credit card. My car needed a starter which was over $400 because of labor and a oil change. So short and simple I put it on my credit card and i haven't charged anything since (this was in september). The minuim payment is $20 each month (it's a student card) but I pay $50 three days before due date to avoid intrest charges (there have been none). My question is having this balance on my card and not charging anything new, how is it affecting my credit score. Is my credi score just staying the same or going up?

Fish sticks (per Grandpa's request)
Little Debbie Snack Cakes (per Cousin Ernie's request)

pick one, and you don't have any real stuffing

Scott Mclelan says: "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

we already know "scater" libby scated free thanks to Bush. so now- ONLY 4 PEOPLE ARE LEFT that leaked the name of valerie plame.

it's not a large group- 4 PEOPLE!!!! cant' we have them testify UNDER OATH to see who lied an leaked her name? 1 of 4? 2 of 4? 3 of 4? or all 4?? take your pick. it is narrowed down to 4 people.

Hello everyone, I've been playing on my old first-act Guitar for about a year and a half now and I feel it's time to bump up, I tried one of my friends guitars (It was a mid-end Ibanez, I don't remember which) and I could play a lot better so I figure my crappy First Act is holding me back.

So, what is a good intermediate-level electric guitar?
I play pretty much everything, but mainly hard rock / metal / punk. The max I can spend is 350$, and I'm looking to order it online so please include where I can get it with your answer :D

Thanks guys!

Oh and PS I play both rythm and lead guitar on-and-off so one which can fill both positions nicely would be GREAT!

I'm looking to find a new hobby. Something really interesting. Something that may even require lots of practice, or none at all. I just want to start something new.

Tell me, what do you like to do?

Suppose your child is a rapist/murderer, and you are certain of his guilt. Is it your obligation to try to prevent his conviction?

Or would you take the apparently objectivist position of letting the courts decide, assuming his innocense in spite of the same evidence being enough, presumably, for you to assume the guilt of a stranger?

If he is convicted, and you accept his guilt then, should you try to bring him comfort, let alone get his conviction over-turned, anyway?

Does there ever come a point where he no longer deserves what you might give him?

I aquired this nickle, its supposably uncirculated. But the interesting thing is, its a triple clip? I talked to a few local guys, and all I can find out is its a MAJOR error, because it means that 2 machines messed up on the same coin, and it passed 2 inspections unnoticed.

I am hoping to get a more detailed explaination on how this happens other then " Oops..Oops again."

Trying to do research on the companies I want to interview with in my industry... some are smaller and do not have a website. Other than knowing what they do, how does one find out about THEIR company stability, work ethics, etc before being called to be interviewed? Thanks in advance!!
