Yes, well Bush says a lot of things that aren't true. My general feeling is if his mouth is moving, he is lying.

Did that really surprise you that they were the ones that leaked CIA's name, I knew that all the time. He's shocked that Scott told it but they fired him so it is just tit for tat.. Anything that those crook corrupt bunch would do would never surprise me. That is why I say , "What did they or where did they hide the missing money", to split when they leave office. They will be Billionaire's when the finally get the hell out of there. They should watch them and some comes up out of no where in theirs our families lives and just go take it all back, just a bunch of thugs. Bush was scared of that turkey I was hoping it jump up and ruffle its feathers , old Bush would have hit the trail running passing any other world record made in MPH.

the bush presidency will go down in history as worse than 9/11
...and to the bush defenders-given your claims as to bush's propriety, honesty, and integrity, I dont supose you could explain it to us again why kenneth star received 80 million dollars to go after clinton on a bj yet allegedly bush (wmd, "a matter of weeks" in iraq, gonzales, libby, et. al.) has done NOTHING wroth investigating?!

You are only remembering the answer, but you have conveniently forgotten the question. The President was asked what he would do about the person leaking the information in violation of the law against leaking the identity of a covert agent. It has been determined that the law was NOT broken. In fact, the villain turned out to be the agent who was identified.
The person who identified the agent did not work in the W.H., but worked for the State Depart. And, the special Prosecutor knew going into the investigation because the guy admitted it.
Karl Rove didn't rape or molest anyone, neither did Dick Cheney, nor Scooter Libby, nor did President Bush. The Clintons are responsible for far more unpunished crimes than all the administration put together!

He did deal with them. He gave Libby a pardon and he covered up for the rest of them.
“I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.”

No, he said that anyone guilty of a crime would be fired.
Accuracy, when quoting or paraphrasing someone, is important. Inaccuracy can sometimes be considered deliberate, in order to distort the truth.
---
Just like the inaccurate statement that Libby got a "pardon". No, he didn't. His prison sentence was commuted by Bush, but the guilty verdict is not changed.
Inaccurately describing the events of the past is not discernable as accidental or deliberate, and one is left to wonder about the "truthiness" of those who distort the facts.

Yes. I challenge Bush supporters to quote one statement since he took office that wasn't a flat-out lie or an exxageration.
They can't.

As I understand it, this is a felony. If Bush weasels out of this one I'll lose the last remaining shreds of respect I have for our government.

Good idea. This situation is far more worse than what Clinton did. It is even worse than Watergate.
Send out the subpoenas and let the testimonials begin.
