I like both. How about mix it up, like carnitas spaghetti :)

I would say neither is better. I cook Italian and Mexican food all the time. Spicy food is not a family favorite. Here in Baja California we have lots of fresh seafood, so Shrimp Scampi and Ceviche are always on the menu. Our fish tacos are the best. We get heirloom tomatoes from the Valle Guadalupe and they are the best for the marinara and the salsa.

I would say both because I love spicy Mexican food, and I also love delicious Italian food. My favourite Italian dish is Fettuccine Alfredo and my favourite Mexican dish is tacos of course!!!

How can you do without either one? It depends upon the moment...Sometimes I am hungry for Pizza (or pasta or garlic bread, what have you) sometimes for tacos, taquitos or what have you.
My wife is a Filipina, so we often have Filipino food! Some of that German food is oh, so good! Then there is Swiss chocolate, French breads and pastries!
Variety IS the spice of life!

I love them both, but I would prefer mexican food. I love spicy food, green chiles, tortillas, and the like. I'm also hispanic, so I guess you could say I'm a bit partial.
