I've got an assaignment in my English class, and it has to be a poem that when read, has to last three minutes. Therefore, I am looking for a fairly long poem. I would love to find a poem on the military, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Battle of Normandy(June 6, 1944) or the Battle of the Bulge December 16, 1944. Any one of these poems would be awsome to do. I've looked on the web forever and I'm quite tired of looking-I'm getting no results.

ok this lady use to be my dads girlfriend they broke up but still talk. shes evil. she comes over alot but this time she brought her kids she has 2 sons and 1 daughter and one of her sons is nice and sweet but her other one is mental or like disabled theres nothing wrong with that but he always use to touch me and hump me and i havent seen him since (her daughters not the greatest but i can deal wit her) im locked up in my room right now cuz i dont want her mental son touching me what should i do shes gonna be here for like 4 hours i dont want to be in my room that long but i dont want her mental son touching me. what do i do P.S my dad knows shes evil but for some reson he lets her come. we didnt know she was going to bring her kids here

I found out that I was pregnant in september, his mum came to live with us a week before the wedding, but a couple of weeks after we were married he decides he NEEDS to go out with his mates, yet in the whole year we were engaged he NEVER went out once, even though I said for him to go out once in a while, he refused and said he weren't interested he would rather be with me.
But lately it feels like he ONLY wants to go out with his mates and we never go out anymore what can I do

I know there is no "ideal" pre law degree, but some degrees HAVE to better than others. I know I should just do what I am interested in (the humanities) but which major would help the most in law school, or be similar to law school. I have heard everything from accounting to English.
Advice?

For those savvy on the Election 07, you'll know what I'm referring to - the liberal volunteers handing out fake "how to vote cards" appealing to Anti-Muslim sentiment. MP Jackie Kelly has likened it to a Chaser style prank and as a Chaser fan, I find that outright insulting to the Chasers.

The Chasers mock politics in general but in a way which has no serious consequnces (minus the APEC stunt but it only got themselves into a legal mess.)

Handing out fake How to Vote cards however, is the political equivalent to defamation and should be criminalised. Anyone who thinks this was fun is nuts.

My husband has a deep, secret flaw that I've recently unearthed, and I must learn how to retrain him. He's a tortie-phobe -- he irrationally thinks torties are evil because of their flecked fur and untrustworthy golden eyes. It's broken my heart that I'm married to a cat racist. He dotes on our domestic greys, and he adores just about every other kind of kitty (and they adore him as well), but somewhere, somehow, a tortie hurt him real bad, and now he's scarred for life.

How can I make him stop (tearfully sniffing) judging and discriminating based on fur color?

I have a 3 foot tank with a rainbow shark, a electric yellow, a blue, a silver shark, 3 guppies, a bristlenose catfish and a golden catfish. All really baby size lol. Before i put any decent fish in my tank i decided to cycle it with feeder fish. (I didnt loose any) Now i was going to take them out but ive grown attacted to them and i cant decide whether they are platties or mollies. They are really small and most have black speckles except one red one and one black one. Help how can i tell since they are so small? Ive looked on the net and im still confused? Is there somthing that one has that the other doesnt? Thanking you for replying Angel xoxo

Ok, last year, tenth grade in Biology I had a straight A+ average...even on the exam I got a 98 and I only studied for 3 hours. I thought I wanted (and even at the beginning of this year I wanted to go to college and become a neurosurgeon)

Fast forward to this yr...AP Bio. II everyone got a B and I was one of them w/ the exception of two kids who wanted to be neurosurgeons also (They got As)...and the teacher even told the A+ one "He's our next neurosurgeon" which completely made me want to change career paths.

I think I am able to get an A but i'm the only one in the class that is also in Honors English which takes sooo much work...but that is not an excuse.

I still like the brain but I have absolutely no interest in carbs etc. so that didn't help either

And bascially, am I still cut out to be a neurosurgeon since being 1 means being the BEST...not avg...

So should I choose something diff. or just stay w/ it?

I’m preparing an exposition of Jean Auel’s « Clan of the Cave Bear » novel for my anthropology class.
I reeeeaaallly need to know which were the “real” tribes or clans of human (homo sapiens sapiens populations) that she used as model for her novel. I assume that all those descriptions of magic, rites, marriage, hunting came from a “combination” of real facts…

Although the majority of people want Justice for Madeleine, it seems neither the Police, or Social Services can do a thing? Because according to the McCann Lawyers they are innocent! - “They have been told by their lawyers that they have not broken the law.”

So first they say- The couple said the resort was “so quiet”, they thought it was safe to leave Madeleine and their two-year-old twins Sean and Amelie.

And then on the Panorama Documentary, we are told they ‘knew’ they were being watched….

So even though they ‘wittingly’ left their three ‘tots’ in an extremely vulnerable situation they are not responsible! –

"But they are responsible parents who would never intentionally have done anything to harm their children or put them at risk.

i got arrested last week and cuffed behind my back by the police officer. The cuffs were put on real tight which hurt my wrists.... i was later released without charge.

This week my boyfriend decided to cuff me in the bedroom, which i wasnt too sure about, but i guess he liked it!!

he said he wanted to arrest me.....
