What did you do about it???

My 5 yr. old said it to me and boy did it just aaaarrrrrrrrgggggg!!! I did not go through morning sickness, labor, surgery,sacrifice everything I ever was to hear this from my kid!!!!

I'm considering a second dog, and if I get one it will either be a Cane Corso or an Akita. My current dog is an 8 month old neutered male Kai Ken (related to the Akita, but will max out around 50 lbs). I wouldn't get the second dog for about 6 months, as I'm about to purchase a home and would wait until I was settled in to get the new dog. There will be a fenced yard for the dogs while I'm at work, but my dogs are inside dogs when I'm home. I know about raising large dogs and dealing with dominance. Just looking for stories or suggestions from those who know the breeds. How are they with other dogs they are raised with? Are they social enough for trips to the dog park? How about with kids? Any special difficulties with them? How are they as guard/protection dogs? Thanks!

Social services recently got involved with me cus im 28 weeks preggers and 21 years old and They have put my baby on the at risk register due to my previous 2 kids being adopted due to my previous circumstances. I was young when i had my 2 kids, i was in a bad r-ship and got beaten up by my ex and he was into drugs so my kids were taken away and adopted. that was 2 years ago. since then i have got rid of my ex, i am with a new partner who treats me so well and is perfect. I am happy and have basically sorted my life out. i have done my home up nice and began to prepare for my babys birth. i have face to face contact with my 2 kids who were adopted whereas the dad doesnt so that proves it was nt my fault they were taken!! The thing is the social workers were so positive about my changes i had made to my life and said they would not remove my new baby from my care. But should i trust them?? i dont wanna lose my new baby!!

Flower allergy sufferers -- what types of flowers are you least allergic to?

I am getting married next June and have a bridesmaid who is allergic to many types of flowers (like lilies and wildflowers). I still want to use real flowers in my wedding, if possible. I was planning to go with an English wildflower wedding theme. What types of flowers could I consider using in her bouquet? (I have heard sometimes that if all the pollen is removed from the flowers, this prevents many allergic reactions.)

For instance, maybe you didn't like someone because they were snobby or made fun of you in highschool. Maybe you all were friends, but you or that person did something to break-up the friendship.

I graduated in 1995 and I noticed that there are still people who won't speak when they see me because of something that happened way back in highschool. I don't understand it. Do people ever grow up? I live in another state now so it really doesn't matter.
