I think Tennessee near the mtns and the water. In a log cabin with a huge covered porch (and a hot tub in the back!) *w* lol

I should give it more thought I suppose, but I've always wanted
a home on the beach with an ocean view. It would have to be
a modern home with no chance of allowing any mold or mildew to take form inside, since I've had strong allergies to
those. I would have a wide open deck around the circumfer-
ence of the home, and the house would be structured so that
there were views of the ocean from every room in the house.
And that would take some doing LOL, since there's usually
a back of the house too. lol. I'd just have to find a super
archetect to design it that way.
I have a close second desire to live, in Sedona, Arizona. For it's purple and orange rocky cliffs and the turqoise blue sky offering such colorful contrasts. It is the most gorgeous
location I can think of that I've visited so many times. The
ground is a reddish clay there and the sage that grows
is a bright green and it almost bounces off of the red clay
terrain. Sedona is truly a pallet of many colors and it's as if God himself just painted the scenes in front of you before you arrived. It almost takes your breath away for its' grandeur.
I'd have a house also with a large deck to see the views of
all the different rock formations, that have become so famous
because of the photographers who've managed to capture
them on film with the perfect lighting that can only be found
there. As the sun begins to wane the cliffs and formations
take on the reddish and orange hues even more, and you
feel you are in Gods' country for sure. It's a humbling sight,
and revered by the indians for centuries. It's a place that
always remains in my heart.

And I assume that non-restriction would mean I would have the money it takes to structure and keep up the "home"? Then I would like to find a missle silo and convert it into a home. I've seen this done several times and they make great homes. Of course, initial costs are gigantic, however, upkeep is not.

I have no idea exactly where I would locate one right now, but just about anyplace would be OK with me.

Also, I could be at home in a lighthouse!

I get so tired of seeing tract houses, one after the other!

If no restrictions means enough money, I'd like to move back to Reston, Va. where I lived for many years. Artsy, liberal and diverse community that is done on the 'new town' concept. I'd want this townhouse I looked at years ago that sits atop a hill overlooking a gorgeous serene lake and had a wrap around deck off the living room. It was walking distance to a mini shopping center with grocers, drug store, hardware and a couple restaurants and had a winding path down to the house's dock where my flat bottomed, canopied little boat would be....and it had enough bedrooms and baths so if my best friend wanted to come stay with me, she could.

I would live right where I am at. I have a little piece of Eden right here, not to far from Charlotte, North Carolina. I can have My pets and horses, Peace and quite. Be noise if I want to, I am near a brook , Big meadow to walk about and see Deer and Wild Turkeys and wild animals. Great neighbors. And not to far from the beach or mountains. WE are very satisfied where we live.

Well, I live near Seattle in a senior complex apartment. It is nice but if I could live anywhere it would be Lake Tahoe, Nevada or California side. It has always been one of my favorite places. Second choice would be to live for at least a year in Ireland.

On the beach in Kauai. I would like a stone house with lots of windows that open wide to let in the salt air and ocean breeze. It would also have a beautiful, tropical garden surrounding it and a place for the wild birds to land. It would have three guest houses on the property for each of our children and their families. They could live or visit.

Only been to NYork. so can't say, but I think the Island of Maui would be my choice. I'm sick of big cities and all the cameras, and blimps going over.

Out of the USA, I would live in Mauritius. They don;t follow your every move, and all races, religions, and the people just "get along" with each other. They are beautiful people.
