I asked a question yesterday about a gentleman I've been working with scheduling a portrait session to get some headshots done for work. I kind of got the feeling he was trying to turn our appointment into a date when he suggested we have dinner afterwards-saying it was his way of repaying me for being so kind through his numerous reschulings of his appointment. I e-mailed him back and said "Actually, I'm thankful for your offer, but that won't be necessary. I don't mind that you've had to reschedule. I understand. Also, I need to get home after your session because my husband is working and my babysitter isn't available past 4:00." He wrote back and said "I know dinner isn't necessary, but a girl's gotta eat. It's okay if you bring the kids. I know this is good for us both."

What the heck does he mean by THAT?!?

Hi. I have a simple flash application where it gets info from an xml file and populates a dynamic text area.
Problem is the text I get from the xml file needs to contain a link. Is there any way to make certain texts that I get from the xml file into a link?
I've looked into using htmlText.. say..
myTextArea.htmlText = ' hello world';
This works except I do not know how to apply styles to it (on mouseover make text underline, etc)

Is there any simpler way to make certain texts a link? Please let me know of all possible ways you can think of. Thanks in advance.

We are going to The Price is Right game/show in Las Vegas. We already have tickets (or will be picking them up at willcall). How early do we need to be there?

Some people report getting there 2 hours early and that seems a bit "over done" to me?

Thoughts?

Thanks,

I have to have hard flooring because I use a wheelchair. I am just completing my new home with heated concrete floors with tile in most of the house and wood in the bedrooms. I tried to pick coarse textures so he gets grip in order to stand up and the Bruce wood says it is designed for dogs traction. He sleeps on the couch, or my bed, and our old house had cement with hardwood but it wasnt heated and it being hard didnt seem to bother him. Could the consistent warmth help his aching joints as it seems to help mine? Yesterday we were there and I turned the thermostat up from 60 to 65 which would ,I am told, start ciculating water that is 10 degrees higher than the what the thermostat is calling for until it reaches the desired temp. It seemed that he started panting shortly after that. Now it may have just been a normal thing but it got me wondering. I have been told that some people have a problem with this type of heat making their feet sweat. Anyone have any experience with this?

I found this chart and I am not good with statistics. So I would like some of you to tell me if this is good stats or bad stats on how he came up with this chart. I would greatly appreciate clarification about this chart and the stats used. Also if the chart is good stats (if there is such a thing) why is the CO2 levels continuing to rise while the temperatures are not rising the same rate and we are not the warmest considering CO2 levels are the highest they've ever been. Thanks

I read a question which got me thinking? I have always told people that there is actually evidence for the existence of Jesus but have never really bothered finding out if this is true or not?

And when I say actual evidence I don't mean the bible. I mean Roman records and whatnot.

Suppose you had to draft a professional athlete that DOES NOT play for the National Hockey League, to play for a NHL team.
What player would you pick?

I’d probably pick Brett Farve, because he is 222 pounds, he is 6'2", and he knows how to shake off a concussion.

We were at the doctors office yesterday I felt like he did not want to be there. Last night he ask me what is it that he is doing so he can change, and I can even answer that I'm so absentminded. so i told him I just wanted to be left alone he walked out and slam the door. I really feel he dosent want to be around me or want the child, he tells me different. What is wrong with me, is it my hormones or am i just crazy.

first off, before i begin, i am posting this question here b/c i need mature, serious answers...i made the mistake of putting it first on singles/dating and only got one reponse and i would a little more opinions please, so here i go. So i ask, what does it mean when a guy tell you that "we have great chemistry together"? This is how it started, i signed up on an obnline dating site and he was first to mail me. We started talking to one another and everything was great! The conversations we had and still have on the phone, through mails and texts brighten my day and he makes me feel so comfortable talking to him, like i have known him all my life. i have been in serious relationships before, but the way this guy makes me feel can not compare to the way i felt for the ones in the past, it's pretty ironic. The problem lies here, he lives in southern alabama and i live in southern louisiana, so what is dividing us is roughly a lil over 100miles. He tells me time and time again that the
