I can see how agnostics are open minded, but aren't Santa-deniers just as closed minded as Santa Fundamentalists?

If someone is truly open minded, wouldn't they admit that there is a remote possibility that there could be a Santa? And if there is a remote possibility that there could be a Santa, then shouldn't they also be open minded to the fact that some believe in this more strongly then others?

I'm starting to think that nonbelievers only think someone is open minded if they deny that Santa exists. Is this true?

If this is true...doesn't this go against the definition of being open minded? Which would then bring us back around to what I actually think, that Santa-deniers can not be open minded.

Hmmmm....

OK you geniuses. Here is one in the field of celestial mechanics. Let's see who can figure out the correct answer to this one. (Totally hypothetical of course.) Good luck.

If the Earth was to suddenly double in size in both its diameter and it's density, which of the following things would occur as a result?

A) The speed of it's orbit around the Sun would slow down.
B) The speed of it's orbit around the Sun would increase.
C) The Earth's distant to the Sun would decrease due to gravity.
D) The Earth's distance to the sun would increase due to angular momentum.
E) The correct answer is actually A+C.
F) The correct answer is actually A+D.
G) The correct answer is actually B+C.
H) The correct answer is actually B+D.

(PS...Let's forget about the Moon for the sake of the question.)

I mean, in all due respect the first amendment protects their right to protest to make this a hate crime, but at the same time it also protects the true idiots and ignorant of the world.

To me, this whole case is overblown. From the prosecution of Mychal Bell, to the protests that have occurred since.

What do you think?

Please explain to me in words that I can understand what could that be or lead to:
fatty liver, hypoechoic nodule 4.5 x 22 x 26 mm in size. there is some through-transmission suggesting this represents a complex cyst or adjacent cysts.

My point/question: is this a cirrhosis type? or cancer type? or Hepatocellular Carcinoma type? or something else?

I appreciate your answer.

Young Earth Creationists make an interesting point that you cannot believe the Bible and believe in an earth older than 6-10k years old because any other viewpoint than this indicates that there were many years of death (whether animals or human) before the Bible's story of the Fall begins. The Fall of man, the original sin, led to death. That said, there had to be a time when there was no death, if there was no death, then billions of years equals billions of animals and not enough resources and land mass to support this compounding problem. With this in mind, can I claim to believe the Bible and still somehow believe the earth is as most scientist (only Christian Scientists believe in a young earth) believe is billions of years old?

THeres this guy tht I have been talking to that claims that he wants to get a divorce but he is still living at home because he can't afford to move out, and still pay for everything........he says tht he wants to be involved but kind of also says (at other times) that he can't imagine being away from his two year old. When I bring to his attention that the stituation seems like a bleak one for me.....he says that he won't have me waiting forever its just complacated......I can only imagine whats going on in that house, I mean we talk on the phone constantly and he "says" that he is sleeping in another room. Can all of this be possible?

I have an original lithograph/seriograph by the architect Andre Olsufiev, it is signed and numbered and was acquired at auction in the 1980's. Does anyone know anything about this architect that was born in Bucarest in the 1930's. I am unable find this painting on line the only thing I can find is some pictures of a library and such in a place where you buy posters of prints. This painting is of a canal, lined with speed and sail boats and has office buildings in the background. A true testament to architecture. Any help on this would be appreciated. I have already contacted an art gallery in California that I deal with and they had know clue. Any help would be appreciated
