I don't think so. I still have some in the cabinet that I've had forever. I break it out for "special" occasions and it still tastes OK. I think you're fine!

In the fridge it'll take a while. A while meaning quite a while. More than a few weeks, I'm sure. It has sugar in it, so there is a chance for mold to form on it. Refrigeration slows down spoilage, but it doesn't prevent it.

Unrefrigerated, it can spoil in a few days. I know that from personal experience; forgot about a glass with some kool-aid left in it, found it after a couple of days and there's a few fuzzy colonies in the glass. Yuck.

Try drinking Full Fill or Propel or something. You can find packets of it right next to the KoolAid at Walmart. They are all on the same shelf. That way you have some flavor to your water and not drink a ton of sugar water.

The other day I had an odd craving for it for the first time in YEARS. I made it with splenda instead of sugar. It was great. My thought is that it is not any worse than other things you can drink (of course other than plain water) so why not? Everything is okay in moderation.. just be moderate about it. EDIT: Ok, seriously people selfish? wtf I am so sick of the crazy people on here who think because you are pregnant you must live in a bubble!!! I have never met ONE pregnant woman who drank solely water from day one of their pregnancy.. so get over it. And, as far as the gest. diabetes thing I know a girl who did not eat or drink ANYTHING with sugar and STILL got gest. diabetes.. and I know plenty of women who eat lots of sugar (candy, icecream etc.) and never got it! Again, moderation is the key!

i am sure that after a REALLY long time, it might "spoil" as in mold or something maybe, but mine usually does stay in the fridge that long. more than anything I have found that after a few days, it has started to turn a little syrupy and SUPER sweet (if there is just a little left in the container) and I usually just dump it at that point.

anything with sugar can ferment. anything left out can spoil. water can test positive for bacteria after 24 hours.my best guess if you've left it out for a day get rid of it.

i dont think it goes bad or spoils, like leaving food out.. but even water tastes flat and gets bubbles in it if you leave it sitting.. kool-aid can get warm and flat. but it doesnt go bad..
