I leave for basic training november 26, my rate is a BM. Sometimes I think I made the wrong choice

For Thanksgiving my family and I are having steak instead of turkey. (Only my immediate family can get together on Thursday, we're having the big shindig on Saturday at a relative's house). Anyway, we're having all of the traditional side dishes-- green bean casserole, corn casserole, etc. (except for stuffing--baked potato as a substitute.)

What's a good appetizer to make with this meal? I was going to make deviled eggs and/or sausage balls, but that doesn't seem appealing enough. I wanted something that was quick and easy. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

My friend has a home that she is paying on a mortgage. She has got 4 months behind on her mortgage and the bank is proceeding with foreclosure. She is low income and was already struggling with her mortgage payments before the foreclosure. Is there anything that she needs to do or will the bank come after her for any fees? I don't think she will be able to afford to make anymore payments and she has kids.

Sorry obviously going to ofend all pro-mccanns but why do you all feel so sorry for them, why doesn't everybody stop and think if they hadn't of neglected their children in the beginning, they wouldn't actually be in this situation, i'm sorry but any parent (and believe me, i do not consider myself a perfect parent), should think about their children before thinking about going out on the p and leaving their children on their own. I don't go out much now that i have my daughter but if i do i certainly make sure that she is left with a responsable adult. I certainly wouldn't leave her on her own. They as far as i recall have not to date actually said that they regret putting food and drink before their children.....

Would you read a question about someone's health problems & start a rant about how "if they just stopped being so negative about everything their pain and their illness would be magically healed? " Do you assume that everyone on here with fibromyalgia and other pain problems caused them because of their "negative thinking"? I have a male neighbor thats about 60 years old, retired with a good pension. My wife visits and talks to him a lot. He visits her at my home but seems to always leave before or when I get home. Also, they sometimes like to have a few drinks together to the point of her being trashed when I get home on a few occasions.

Now I dont want to jump to any conclusions but what is going on here? My wife and I are both in our mid 30's by the way.
