its a dark redish color and rough to the touch (feels like a thick layer of dead skin sorta). it looks really bad on my left hand near the last two fingers and the rest of my knuckles have the same thing but it doesnt look as bad, ive tried using some lotion but it doesnt help moisturize it at all..........i was just wandering if anyone knows what this is.

p.s my gf had sorta the same thing on her knuckles as well but it wasnt really red just ashy lookin and lotion didnt help her hands either

My family has a 26 yr. old horse (we think a quarterhorse), and he was rescued. He has terrible teeth, is not very exited about anything, and is super skinny. He won't eat hay because it hurts too much, so we feed him softened grain. He has an eye infection too, that we're trying to treat. The vet says he's in too poor health to have his teeth done right now. He will soon be with four other horses, but 3 will pick on him at first. Any ideas??? Thanks!!!!!!

My husband and i are looking into renewing our wedding vows. We had a very quick court house wedding and now want our children and family to be able to participate. But i'm unable to find answers to questions such as do I need a new marriage license? And typically which anniversary should we celebrate if we're getting remarried on a different date/month? Last Friday I was working out in Service in the Country (about 30 minutes away). I was doing my regular presentation... simply offering the Bible teach tract. When I asked the guy if he was a Bible reader he said he was and he told me that "the Lord are putting" he and his wife through some trials but he's helping them get through them. I told him he could be comforted and rest assured that "the Lord" wasn't the one placing the trials on him- but Satan- and that it's the Lord that helps him endure. I asked if he'd be interested in a Bible study and he said he definitely would. I asked when would be a good time to come back and demonstrate the study program and he said Wednesday afternoon would be good because his wife would be home then.
Then he started tearing up and told me he prayers for the Lord to take him home because his life is that bad right now.
It just broke my heart.

Should I encourage him to choose from the topics in the Bible Teach book or pick a certain one or both

My son needs a surgery and the insurance company says the only way they will cover any costs is if the doctor shows it is predetermined, the letter from the doctor says that this surgery is the only viable option. Is that predetermined? I have no clue how to prove "predetermined" and the insurance people that I have talked to don't seem to understand how I get "predetermined" This is crazy I just need someone to tell me what I need to get!!! Thanks for any help

I ask this as, in my city, three thugs of fourteen who broke into a zoo and tortured animals are being let off scot-free by the Children's Panel (a pathetic group who should be abolished). Americans have the right idea when it comes to boot camps for yobs as surely violent pre-teens and teens have lost the right to be treated like children when they show they are capable of such vile acts. In these boot camps, not only are inmates punished but they are also given therapy so it's the best of both worlds really.

I'd be interested to know what others think about the UK's pathetic criminal justice system that surely makes us a laughing stock at times.
