Does postmodern philosophy in combination with Christianity completely rule out rationalism when it comes to defining doctrine and keeping order in churches? For example, a church is claiming that the Holy Spirit is causing people's hair color to change. Can the postmodern Christian rationally examine these seemingly anti-biblical claims and refute them, or does the philosophy rule that out? Or, to give a more realistic example: a church claims that God is telling them Universal Salvation is a correct doctrine. Can the postmodern Christian examine this claim with the Biblical texts? If not, then perhaps we should seek a better alternative to both modernism AND postmodernism. Is there such a thing?

What I am getting at is this: will postmodernism in combination with Christianity result in many people reverting back to pure, unwarranted, superstition?

Humans by many means seem to have this quest for immortality. Wether through health, religion etc....Do you think jthis will lead us to our biggest destruction because we cannot come to terms with death.

If you disagree then why do we as humans try to prevent death.... To live longer ...to look younger...heaven...are not all these some indirect avoidance of death. Living longer doen not mean you live longer well with a high quality to life....Heaven if there is one then why is death still so contraindicated and viewed as so horrific if we go to some far off better kingdom...

I was watching G4 the other day and AOTS had a spot about good, underground anime. I don't remember the title, but there was one with a girl with large boobs and a few guys with guns blazing in almost every scene. From what I remember, they were pirates. Hopefully this is a good enough description. Can't be too many pirate anime series out there, right?

Hi, I'm thinking about applying for Math doctorate program.
And I wanna know how long usaully it takes to finish up PhD usually.

I have to finish up quickly as possible to go back to my country and serve for mendatory service. They won't let me stay go outside the country after 28 if I haven't served.

Do kids in really good schools like Ivylevel institution finish up quicker since they are smart?

And one other important question, does Educational Math take less than general math PhD?

Seems like Ed. D take less than general math or stat phD
