when you mail a package or letter to Rome? I sent my son some personal items and it cost $56.00 on my end for a package that only weighed 7lbs.....but when he went to the post office to retrieve it, he had to pay a whopping $70.00 in customs fees........whyyyyyyyyyyyy??????????

My husband has 2 young kids with his ex girlfriend and we have a 2 year old son together also. Well my mother in law has a relationship with all the mothers of her grandkids including his ex although they never married (she still calls her "daughter in law" along with me and my brother in laws wife). Anyway she still has the ex's picture on the wall along with a picture of my hubsand and her together...right beside OUR pics together. My husband and I tried to be subtle by only taking the one of them together down first when she wasnt around but she just put it back up without saying anything. How can I/he/we nicely ask her to take the pictures down without offending her?

Seriously...some people here tonight are way tooo touchy and negative. So what if I asked a silly question. If you have nothing nice to say then DON"T SAY ANYTHING. its pretty old, it used to have what we though t was gold enlay all over the barrel of it and handle..some is still there but unfrortunatly it was removed..there knob on the end of the handle unscrews but we won't remove it to find out whats inside incase it wouldn't screw shut again...i want to know anything about it possible :D

regarding the power test for the police dept men have to do 1.5 miles in 13 min and women have to do 1.5 mile in 16 min. considering the general applicants have only been running for about 2 months purpose to only train for the exam. is it accurate to say that men are just generally faster runners?
