No. Most men cheat because they don't actually love their spouse.

The whole, "Once a cheater, always a cheater" thing is a misnomer.

A man will always be a cheater if he doesn't love his partner, truly, madly and deeply. He may care for his partner and be comfortable is his life...but he will not actually love that person wholeheartedly.

A man who truly loves his wife/girlfriend/family, will rarely cheat because the potential for a loss to that love is devastating, whereas a man who is a cheater will suffer the loss but it will not be devastating for him and he will rebound with another woman in a short period of time.

So to fully answer your question, a man may cheat on a girlfriend he doesn't really love and then meet a woman he does truly love and be faithful for the rest of his life.

OR

A man may never love anyone more than he loves himself and that piece of garbage with father seven different kids with seven different women and be a deadbeat dad and die miserable and alone.

The question you have to answer is: Does your man actually love you, or is it just something he says?

When you answer that, you will have your own answer.

My husband confessed to cheating on his best friend's girl a long time ago before we got married. He said he didn't even like her but she one day just came up to him and rubbed on his junk so he screwed her and that was that. He said, "it just happened" yes, that very famous line. We're divorcing so I guess it shouldn't matter. But to be honest, I can't stay married to someone who's cheated in the past. Can't get over the thought of one of our friend's girlfriends coming on to him, and like a horny idiot, screw her too.
