Sorry I don't have a scanner, so no pic is available. Its a leafy potted plant that seems to be fairly hardy (fingers crossed). Its a creeper I think. Well, I don't know what you call it but Its leaves grow down, and they can get pretty long. Its pretty common. You see them spilling down the sides of file cabinets in almost every office in the country. No flowers. The leaves have light yellow streaks on them.

Consider this a vent. I hate it when people respond to honest answers or honest questions with (e.g.) "See? They're all wrong (and we are right)" or "No, because... well, just no."

Okay, those are exaggurated examples. But I've seen similar answers in response to questions in this section where atheists give answers *with* definitions, evidence and what not. The "If we pretend it's not there, it'll go away"-attitude actually comes from christians themselves!

I am an astrologer and experience the same attitude in people who don't "believe" in it. I could come to them with any evidence, scientifically acceptable, and they would still deny everything. Not taking the evidence in account and continue using their own personal favourites that - of course - contradict the idea that astrology might be real.

What shocks me, is that not atheists, but christians are submitting to the same sort of behaviour. Will christians please open their eyes?

PS; I'm pagan, not atheist, so you know

I won a prize on a scratch card. When I phoned to find out what I'd won I was told it was a £1000 gift voucher. I sent away a stamped addressed envelope as directed and have now received a voucher for UK WORLD GIFT CATALOUE. The address on the voucher is Unit 10, Tavistock Industrial Estate,Ruscombe Lane, Twyford, Reading RG10-9NQ. It says I can order goods up to £1000 but have to pay the delivery charges. Has anyone heard of this?

by letting men wear pants and have short hair istead of women, I think the right Idea is to let the men wear skirt because pants would make that area more noticeable and women should wear pants because that area is more flat and should have short hair so when they take care of the children their child would't be able to pull their hair.

I've had my car battery jump-started yesterday at school, because i left my headlights on for almost about 4 hours and a half. The jumpstart was successful, but i have concerns about the battery being discharge and all of that. Is it true that the charge is gone forever and the battery will weaken and i will have to replace it very soon ? What exactly happens during the jumpstart process ?

so fast with ever step I took, and when I got home I looked on the pad I was wearing as I wear pad running becasue I have had 4 kids and I have a weak bladder, and I looked at the pad and it had lots of dark green diarea on it grouse. and then I went to the toilet after I got back and passed muddy diarea in the toilet. YUCK. This happens about 8 times out of 10 when I run. I cannot stand it. In 2005 and last year I had bowel cancer, and about 7 months ago I was given the all clear and my symtoms had all gone. Now it has only been about 3 months or so most of the time I run this happens and I am worried. I am now very ill, and I am on antibiotics as it feels like I have a virus or an infection. My body is too dam tired and a day takes so much out of me now, and I feel run down now. This diarea that is exesive only happens when I run like I said, could this be the cancer returning. I am a 38 year old female and need advice please.I was told the antibiotics will not do anything.

Why when i want to fly the union jack i am treated and if i have comitted treason.. i want to fly it as im proud to be part of a nation that is UNITED.. and for our boys n girls that are fighting a political war.. in every other country in the world they are proud and allowed to show their patriotism especially the UNITED states of America who have the greatest concerntration of multiculturalism in the world.. where 99% of the population get on regardless of faith and colour!
Why not fly the flag of the country u have chosen or been born to live in.. because ur happy just to live in it.. and be pround of who u are in your home and enjoy the way u live.. and fly your own flag! wherever u come from.. its our heritage that shapes us not defines us.

It looks to me that just because somebody doesn't like the other's OPINION that God exists or does not exist, they rate people down. How overly sensitive.

I mean, it's okay to do so if they're CLAIMING that God does/doesn't exist (because there's usually no comprehensive evidence), but if not, it's just the answerers' beliefs and I don't think it's right to give them a thumbs-down.

What do you think?
