Human kind is the product of evolution and are mobile to collect food and get Oxygen from air for themselves,whereas the plants are stationary and has to get their food from their environment and photosynthesis is the mechanism to .help them out to get carbon di-oxide from atmospheric Oxygen ,which is vital for human survival. So mother Nature keeps a balance between the two.

Cuz animal cells (teh cells whic we r made of) do not contain chloroplasts which has chlorophyll that helps to do photosynthesis

human beings cannot photosynthesize because of the difference between plant cells and animal cells [the ones we have]
plant cells, unlike animal cells, contain chloroplasts...
chloroplasts are part of the plant cell
the chloroplasts are the ones responsible for letting the cell produce chlorophyll...
these two are essential for the plants to be able to absorb light from the sun to be able to produce glucose...

coz' were human! and human don't take carbon dioxide because it is harmful to us instead were taking this out in our body. Carbon Dioxide is very important for the process of photosynthesis. So next time don't try to sniff carbon dioxide, don't dare.
