A doctor of psychology was doing his normal morning rounds when he entered a patient's room. He found Patient #1 sitting on the floor, pretending to saw a piece of wood in half.
Patient #2 was hanging from the ceiling, by his feet.

The doctor asked patient number 1 what he was doing. The patient replied, "Can't you see I'm sawing this piece of wood in half?" The doctor inquired of Patient #1 what Patient #2 was doing. Patient #1 replied, "Oh. He's my friend, but he's a little crazy. He thinks he's a lightbulb." The doctor looks up and notices Patient #2's face is going all red.

The doctor asks Patient #1, "If he's your friend, you should get him down from there before he hurts himself"

Patient #1 replies, "What? And work in the dark?

One day a guy called from a phone company and convince us to take a long distance phone plan? then he told us that we will receive a call from their company soon after we can activate the plan, but we havent received any phone calls from that company and later 3 months, we received a bill saying that we are using their service, and ask us to pay the bill, we called them and spoke to them that we are not even aware about that we are in long distance plan, so we made a request and ask them to cancel the plan , soon after two months again samy problem they were sending us the bill, in that case as a genuine consumer, what i have to do, i have not even signed any agreement with them, all because of a anonymous phone call from that company? please can anyone help me to solve this.

My sister's dog has disease which can be life threatening if the dog eats something it shouldn't. The dog was playing in the yard when he found a dead rabbit's head and grabbed it. We yelled at the dog, but he refused to drop it so my sister spanked him until he let go. She did not beat or punch him, she just spanked his butt and said "drop it!" until he did. (sometimes he won't listen)

The neighbor saw and said she was going to call the police if she caught us again. I tried to explain our side to the stupid lady but she did not let us talk. She screamed at us then left. My sister feels horrible about spanking her dog, but if she let him eat that rabbit he may have been killed. If it were my dog I wold have done the same. Which is worse, a spanked dog or a dead dog?

If she does report us and a police officer comes to investigate, we plan on telling the truth. But is spanking a dog considered animal abuse and can my sister be arrested for it? She is pretty scared and sad.

Hey, I've got a math test on Friday and I can't figure out how to find the area of a cardioid by double integration. The instructions for the problem read: Find the indicated area by double integration in polar coordinates. And the problem is 3. The area bounded by the cardioid r=1+cos(theta) . Thanks in advance.

Look at Bush's war and the error of his ways and look at the statement made by the Methodist Church.

Bush, Cheney, and Hilary are Methodist as am I. Giuliani is a Catholic and Obama is UCC. Ron Paul, if I remember correctly is a Baptist. Bush is a born-again Christian, a living son of God through Christ! People need to question him about Iraq and keep him accountable and honest.

For me, in China there were no gangs, liberal or conservative hate speech, the weirdos that I met here in the USA, political corectness (Loser's speech), a safer night life, the general fear and cynicism that we have here. On the other hand it is hard to buy a car in China for an ex-pat, geting a drivers license is hard. the pharmacies' choice of medicine is way different. Buying a motorcycle is not too hard, but registering it is hard.....

I used to speak fairly fluent French, and I'd really like to get fluent again. Do you know of any good, current, intelligent French movies that I can use to reacquaint myself with the language and culture? I took numerous French classes, and I'd like to avoid the older movies that are always shown for students (i.e. Jean de Florette). Thank you!
