"When do you know your dog is suffering"?

I have a little chi, and she has a heart problem. She is 12 years old in January. I know she is getting old, but she is coughing alot, and the meds help, but unless i give her the tusigon for sedation for relaxing, or lasik pills to relieve stress on her, she coughs all the time. Sometimes perpetually. She does seem at peace at times..not coughing just walking around. She eats really well...almost too good. She wags her tail when i get home, she just getting tired. I know i am the best judge of when, but while she is coughing alot, i do not believe she is suffering. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Maybe someone has been here....? If so, i would appreciate a response. Thank you all so much...

Which of these vehicles should I buy?

Here are preferences:
1. less expensive than average to maintain (not one that breaks down all the time).
2. anti-lock brakes and cruise control.
3. adequate head room (I think this means a hatchback for head room over the rear seats).
4. Roll down windows (they work well for a long time and are less expensive to repair).
5. a little more elevated off the ground than average (because for example it might be a little better at traveling over snow).

Which of these should I get?

Attraction at work?

I have a co worker that is going through occasional rough times with her husband. At the same time, I am having some questions about my marriage. My co worker is extremely beautiful, intelligent and has values, opinions and interests similar to my own. Things that I gave up to be with my wife, I feel like I could embrace again with this other woman. I am looking for answers because I can't figure out what to do. I want to not destroy what I have worked for a very long time to achieve. At the same time, I don't want to keep running in this rut and miss out on something that could be very special.

I have thought about just starting over: new job, new location. I think this might be my only recourse so I don't hurt anybody, which is going to happen no matter what.

Anyway, is "experience" , "equipment" countable???
CAn you say "course materials" or is it "course material" for the books you are to use this semester?

I can hear a rubbing noise when I touch the brakes on my Jeep Liberty. Whats wrong?

I sure hope I am not replacing brakes again. I just did it about 1 yr ago. The dealer put new brakes on my jeep and I paid a fortune for them.
When I slow down I hear a soft rubbing noise. Is it my brakes or whats wrong? Any suggestions would be helpful.
