What are the different views between the two parties on legalizing the use of medicinal marijuana? Is one party for it? Another against? Are they pretty mixed? I am not looking for your individual view, but I am wanting to look at the parties as a whole.

I go to a Catholic Christian school and we are now learning about the nature of God. We've learned that the future does not exist. Only the past and the present. The future has not occured and is therefore non-existant. Because God is and always is never was or will be, He only knows everything at once that is. After an hour of argument from many students, I finally asked if God knows what will happen in the future. But because of the fact that the future is non-existant, my teacher answered no. God is omnipotent, all knowing. Though the future does may not exist to us, how does God not know? I find it ridiculous. The teacher also said that God knows all that we know at the time including the information of the past. If God only knows what ALL of us know, then, in theory, if we were to combine the knowledge of all human creation together, wouldn't we know as much as God? Now please explain this to me only if you are familiar with this concept. No joke answers and give your standpoint.

The warrior hates war. Having served my country 4 years, I would like to think war should be seriously debated and only used as a last resort.

Persuade me and other neoconservatives (I'm neoconservative on foreign policy but liberal on social issues like abortion and gay rights) that military action against Iran in the next 12 months is a bad idea

In order to have free will, you must have more than one option, each of which is avoidable. This means that before you make a choice, there must be a state of uncertainty during a period of potential: you cannot know the future. Even if you think you can predict your decision, if you claim to have free will, you must admit the potential (if not the desire) to change your mind before the decision is final.

A being who knows everything can have no "state of uncertainty." It knows its choices in advance. This means that it has no potential to avoid its choices, and therefore lacks free will. Since a being that lacks free will is not a personal being, a personal being who knows everything cannot exist.

Therefore, the Christian God does not exist.

Inflation being what it is...was getting out of hand so Oscar suggested to his wife, Olivia, that they try a unique way to save some money on the side.
"Every time I lay you, I'll give you a dollar for your piggy bank," he said. A few weeks later, they decided to open the piggy
bank. Out tumbled a bunch of dollars, but these were mixed with a bunch of fives, tens and twenties. "Olivia!" asked Oscar.... "where did you get all that
money? Each time we had sex I only gave you a dollar." "So?" she said, "do you think everyone is as stingy as you?"

I was convicted of a felony 10 years ago. I went to court to get it "expunged" about 5 years ago. Could I ever get a job in law enforcement? what about government jobs? Do I have to admit it on an application that asks, "have you EVER been convicted of a felony. to be safe, I have been admitting it and explaining it to the employer but I hate having to admit and explain it; it is embarrassing.
