I was in a halloween costume store the other day and was horrified that so many of the costumes for girls / woman looked like something a stripper would wear on stage.
Why is that?
Would you want your daughter dressing like this for halloween:

A friend of mine says there were no white outfield players for a team in Premiership last year but won't give away who it was.

not worried about losing anything as i have all original discs (windows, printer drivers etc) it is just so slow, (25 minutes to open the start menu etc, how do i do this??? cheers

Please pardon the inflamatory start to this question, I just want a good amount of feedback. Has anyone here ever seen the Penn & Teller "Bulls**t" episode concerning recycling? If even half of the information they provided was accurate, it would certainly make you reconsider how important recylcing is. The funniest thing they mentioned was recylcing paper and how recylcling paper actually means LESS trees, not more trees. More than 90% of the paper produced in the world comes from trees on tree farms. They plant tree for the specific purpose of turning them into paper, they aren't going into the rain forests and cutting down trees for paper. Trees are a renewable resource, we plant them, grow them, and make paper out of them. If you recycle paper, that mean they plant LESS trees to make new paper. Not to mention all of the energy use and polution caused by the processes involved in cleaning up recycled paper for reuse. This is just one of the points the show hits on.

ok look, i have cable internet, and never lose connection on our computers, but on madden 08 on ps3 i seem to get disconnected during a game, esp when im winning. why cant ea or playstation make it where if you are disconnected, that it trys to reconnect for 45 secs or something. i paid alot of money for this crappppppppy game that other computer nerds have figured out a way to not lose, its gay. no wonder xbox seems to be more popular. i never seem to have any issues with the other games i play online on ps3 just madden, for the supposed king of all sports games, i am very disappointed, what a rip off, with all the profit they mak from this game u would think they would make sure that the online play would work properly with no issues, but every f-ing day i get disconnected, more than once, it is ridiculous. f-ea f-sony

This morning i went to print a document from my email and when i turned on the printer, it had an error message asking me to insert the right cartridge. when i opened up the printer, it made a loud screeching noise while it moved to the left. i noticed that the right cartridge plastic holder was missing! (im talking about the thing you press down on to secure your cartridge)

This is really confusing to me because the last time i changed that specific cartridge was a couple months ago! It was printing fine yesterday. I have no idea why it suddenly snapped. I don't even know where the plastic holder is! I only see small snapped pieces of plastic

Okay.. here's the deal.
Everyone knows, halloween is next Wednesday.. and I don't have a costume yet. I'm going to a party at my church and our theme is 'tailgate party'.. we can go dressed as a football player, a cheerleader, a mascot, or any kind of food.. but I'm pretty much out of ideas. Two of my friends and I kind of want to coordinate all three of our costumes.. but once again, we have no ideas. My only option is walmart.. and I don't have time to order a costume. Help! lol:]

I'm a sophmore in college with 36 credits majoring in Electrical Engineering. I cannot attend classes on campus this coming semester for a health reason, but still want to continue taking classes somehow. Does anyone know a good online school I could take 3-4 classes from either for science/math or english like classes? Everything I've looked at online so far is directed at getting a particular degree (like Medical Assistant etc), but I would like for the classes I take to go toward my degree when I start back next year.

Only in regard to marijuana. I know there are cut-off levels on the tests and let's say you barely were above the level and failed. Do most companies automatically refuse to hire or will they discuss with you first and see what's going on. It would make sense that its an automatic non-hire, but if they really want someone I thought they may have a level of flexibility. These days marijuana is not considered a big deal, so I'm thinking things are getting relaxed.
