I'm a sophmore in college with 36 credits majoring in Electrical Engineering. I cannot attend classes on campus this coming semester for a health reason, but still want to continue taking classes somehow. Does anyone know a good online school I could take 3-4 classes from either for science/math or english like classes? Everything I've looked at online so far is directed at getting a particular degree (like Medical Assistant etc), but I would like for the classes I take to go toward my degree when I start back next year.

People who laugh at all online classes are simply ignorant, very ignorant.

If you want the best online classes I'd look at Harvard University, Oxford University, UC-Berkeley, UMass, UCLA, Stanford University (best engineers in the world), etc...

If you're looking for good courses at reasonable tuition - Louisiana State and Brigham Young are among the best and priced well.

Don't forget to look and see if the school you're already attending teaches online.

I'm actually enrolled in a Forensic Sci class that is a Distant Learning course. I actually LOVE the idea of this, living in Arkansas I can't really get a degree in that, however with distant learning courses I can. Plus it gives me more flexibility. Instead of having to finish work in class I can go home and do it with more resources, also I don't run the risk of losing my paper. The only con that comes to mind is that their are some technichal problems. But with time that can be fixed. All in all I enjoy it.

This is what I think of Online classes: Hahahahahahha

Babe do your self a Favor DO NOT do online classes..I'm studying at NYU right now and came out of a community college ..I had a 3.42 GPA and a 1820 on my SAT a person I knew went to DeVry online and apply with me with a 3.83 GPA and a 1750 on his SAT...I can asure you if he would have recieve that 3.83 from a comunity college like me he would be next to me in classes.

also look at your future...you think a recruiter will open the door to someone who got his education online? seriously think about it.

kisses

Ask your advisor.

Many online schools are not reputable, and their credits are not transferable.
