A friend of mine says there were no white outfield players for a team in Premiership last year but won't give away who it was.

Any idea's?

And, before anyone starts with the race card, this is not intended to be or in anyway racist

I'm not sure really but IM gonna go with a then possible arsenal lineup that was all black, apart from keeper

Lauren Toure Campbell Cole

Pennant? Viera? Gilberto Diaby

Henry Adebayor

lol arsenal has never really had any wing mids that were black really so like the others are saying it must have been portsmouth. Pennant and Viera were long b4 Adebayor and Diaby came into the team

I think you'll fingd the word coloured is, if not offensive, a bit 70's pal! Try, black, non white etc is more socially acceptable! If you can find a game Fabregas, Hleb, or Rosicki weren't in i'd guess Arsenal. I'm sure LF will find the exact team with dates and wikepedia source for you though!!!! good Luck!

I wondering why you asked for black outfield players... then I realised, there are no good black goalkeepers! Why is that? Apart from David james & Shaka Hislop there's never been any in the Premiership hah

This is turning into a race riot - you can forget PC now (I dislike that rubbish anyway).
Clyde Best (West Ham) got monkey chants in every ground he went to in the 70's and nobody did or said anything!
coloured/black we know what you mean
(in any case the players are brown to be precise!)

none as of date! years ago only afew black players played football in england which i think is a shame because there has been so many fantastic black players past and present such as john barnes, thierry henry and paul ince. it wont be before to long that there will be a team of 11 black players because there is so many fantastic black players around! it shouldnt matter to people what colour players play in there team as long as the team is successful
