THE LIFE CYCLE OF A ROSE
A rose begins its life as only a growth from a tiny seed.
From a seed it forms a stem, along which, a few green leaves and thorns do grow.
Then a red bud, so beautiful and tightly woven, begins to bloom.
So grows the ‘Symbol of Love’ we all know, The Rose.

The rose continues to grow and opens into that magical bloom.
More beautiful than ever before.
It excites our senses, as we gaze upon its perfect beauty
and inhale the heavenly scent it so effortlessly exudes.

Our love, as did the rose, began to grow with only that seed.
We were wed, and from that seed we grew to form the stem of our love.
On that stem, through a few thorns, grew six leaves, our six wonderful children.
As did the tightly woven bud, our family was formed.

Day by day, year by year our family continued to grow.
Changing constantly from one stage of life to another.
From the seed that was planted, to the stem and its six leaves,
Forever holding its beauty for the last 50 years, to what it is now, “This Golden Rose”!

i went to a spiritualist church on manday (im not religious), andf there was a medium there, she spoke to me and described a woman and a man with her named bill, she was spot on with everything, i didnt give any clues, it really freaked me out, the woman was doing this for free so i doubt it was a scam, what do you reckon??

I have a wedding coming up Nov 3rd. It is semi-formal and after 5. THe wedding colors are Chocolate brown (my husband is in the weddign party). Is it ok to wear a black flowing cocktail dress to the wedding? it is very elegant with an empire waist. I bought it a couple of years ago and have never had an occasion to wear it. At the bridal shower everyone was in black and white?

Ok, please, somebody tell me the REAL ISLAM!!! I have been on websites, read books, etc...

What is REAL ISLAM?? Is it peace, war?
Who was Muhammed? Peaceful merchant or war monger?
Does Islam want to take over the world or make peace with it?

I have never gotten a clear answer on this, it goes from one extreme to the other.

Please do not spread hate, I really want to know...

I have been to 3 in lifetime and only seen this once.

Yesterday nearing the end of my Grandfathers ceremony the preist held communion, I dont remember this being discussed before hand and it felt slightly innapropriate. He had also changed swapped some of the selected hymns, even though I am not a Christian I don't mind singing hymns but there were some there I did not feel comfortable with.

Is this normal procedure?

Just got a HD TV and the HD box but since we have hooked it up the sound is not very loud. Some stations are okay, others I have to turn the volume up all the way and I still can not hear. Do I need special cables, or to hook up something different???
