i had my bicycle stolen once about 200 yards from the cop shop and walked over to report it and to my surprise my bike had already been recovered, the police asked if i wanted to press charges and i asked if it was a juvenile i would be happy knowing his parents would take steps to punish him. it turned out to be a professional organized adult theft ring. in that case i decided to press charges although i never heard what developed i was just glad to have my bike back and it was nice to know the police were on top of the situation, good work guys.

Yes, on my visits to Brooklyn, New York visiting my brother my car window was broken and my stereo was taken. Also on another occasion my wallet was stolen.
