No .

Not even remotely close to a political question .

I'm tired of questions that appear to come from a 12 yr. old , aren't you .

Dude , I like ya , but the boards have nearly no intelligent questions right now . Sick and tired of juvenile crap . It's alright to have a little fun with a legitimate question , but look at the boards right now . The most incredible display of utter stupidity that I've ever seen .
Also , did ya happen to notice that most of the intelligent users aren't here either ? Hmmm . Wonder why that is ?

80's OBSCURE ? PFFFT , yeah obscure to a juvenile. . . . . who never learned anything prior to 1985 . Yeah , like that's of 'value' .

EDIT** - OK , Earnest is done bit***** now . LMAO . Go Bosox !! Hey 13-1 blowout already !!
Does this mean I won't be getting best answer ?

I'm a Bear fan, however if the Bears are no longer in the hunt, such is the case of the Yankees, I would then root for the other teams in the division, such as the Packers or the Vikings.

I believe many fans take this loyalty thing to a fault. If your team isn't up for it, it's time to move on. Why destroy your own love of the sport because the home team is out of it.

Kudo's to Rudy. He has his head on straight and is able to separate his love of baseball from politics, unlike that silly woman to the left who declared that she was always a Yankee fan, even though she was raised in Chicago and lived in Arkansas. Say what !

No Red Sox fan would root of the Yankees? That may be true. But that doesn't preclude a Yankee fan from rooting the Red Sox. Who knows maybe the Red Sox are his backup team. They are in the same league.

If this is the best you can come up with on Rudy flip flopping you are getting desperate.

OBTW I do care who doesn't win. Hillary! I'm an ABC person. Anyone But Clinton.

real Tigers fans were rooting for the Indians so, I think he is just rooting in his teams division and for the AL.

If your from Massachusetts and don't care, maybe it's your loyalty that should be questioned.

it's sad that alot of fans in the AL east are just fans of their teams and not a fan of baseball.

I'm still rooting for the Red Sox to win since they are in the AL

Its all about catering to voters... most people in the nationwould choose the Red Sox over the Rockies.... seriously, I wish candidates didn't do this kind of crap. Its okay to show support of your favorite team because that's sincere but this is just being a whore.

Show me a adult man who loves a sport and has a favorite team (and Giulliani has the Yankees... I won't dispute that) who gets excited about another rival in the championship... the average guy doesn't do that. A whore would though because they want something.

It is true that Red Sox fans would never root for the Yankees.

But that is just another reason why Yankees fans are better than Red Sox fans because some of us will root for the American League representative even if it is Boston.

If you want to see flip flopping, see Clinton. She says anythign and everything if she thinks it'll buy a vote.
At least Rudy isn't flopping on political issues like Queen Bee is.

I thought this move was terrible for his campaign. he might as well give the democrats new york now. " i am going to cheer for the red sox because they are in the american league, i cheer for american league teams unless its the mets." Bad idea Rudy. he should have said "NY teams are always first but since they arnt in it i will go for the american league team." Theres the best of both worlds or just dont say who you are going for. Then again you have to think how many crazy baseball fans actually vote. maybe 2%. i dont think it will hurt him that much. Is colorado a Democrat or Republican state historically?

If this is flip flopping, then it's the first Republican to do so. Flip flopping for baseball is a lot less deadly than flip flopping when it comes to war and giving money to support the war.

I know, I am prepared for all the thumbs down and harassment that will follow this answer.

I do agree with the questioners point though, I find it hard to believe Rudy is cheering for Boston after he's made it clear what a huge Yankee fan he is. That is comparable to an Ohio State fan saying they want to see Michigan win...never gonna happen!!!!!

Hmm....I don't know much about baseball fans, but since the Yankees aren't in the WS, it's not like he's cheering against them.

When the Saints didn't make it to the Super Bowl last year, I cheered for the Colts. Papa Manning played for the Saints for a long time and never got a ring, so cheering for his son to get one didn't seem like "flip flopping."
