My Cat Lorilie of 17 years passed away tonight. Lorilie was the Valkyrie that ushered the dead to Valhalla.

What would trigger this? Do people revert back to some hidden primitive innate spiritual side when death is near?

For instance, I bet some of those people fleeing for their lives from the California fires are praying, when they have never prayed before. Do they just expect God to help them now, because they are in trouble? Is this how people think God works?

those companies that test make up on animals - do their products also contain animal fats etc and vice versa? I have an issue with both but an even bigger issue with the latter. I am aware that my ex favourite brand (rimmel) tests their products on anilmals but do their goods contain whale fat and other animal by products? I've checked everywhere for this but I think I can't find it because ir's a dumb question maybe. All sensible answers welcome. Thanks!

My boyfriend and i have known each other for a year now and we have a healthy relationship. The problem started when we started to make out and be involved in heavy petting. I feel really guilty about it as my family is strongly against pre-marital sex. This problem created a gap in our relationship as i'm always trying to pull away from my boyfriend. Is it wrong to have pre marital sex at the age of 20? My family has always taught me about being a pure woman with strong values and pride. My mother especially taught me to keep my virginity till i'm married but i do love my boyfriend. Help please, i'm in a dilemma.Thank you.

All the petiness thats comming from "other" sources.... I know it sounds like I am over reacting....but, when I first came across the Senior section it was when I was just about to stop comming on Y/A altogether because I was sick of encountering a lot of stupid and sick individuals, I got to realise I just did not want to be subjected to that sort of thing, I firmly believe being involved in so much negativity is so bad for anyone, so I was'nt going to put up with it no longer....and like I said, I found the Seniors, I was so pleased, because there was so many lovely people on this..... but now all the patheticness of other users comming over and aiming their childish spite has spoilt it....our life can be stressful enough with all the things we have to deal with in our Day to Day life without adding to it by comming on here to put up with more....I am a very sensitive person, can't help it, it's the way I am, I hate being misunderstood, and that happens on here with just .........

It’s my mistake that I consider her an innocent and noble girl.
I love her very much and of course too possessive for her.
After some time she tell me her past two love affairs and swears that nothing remains illegal in her life. After 3 year when I planned to marry her, she again clears herself by telling a horrible sex rap on her. Without knowing her involvement I just trust and forgive her past sins or mistakes bcz she also loves me very much.
But it’s too much.....
Being with me she again flirt a guy and accepted her guilty before me. It becomes a great shock for me when I prepared everything to marry her. I take it sensitively and explore her more and succeed to get 2 more love affairs.
She begging me for her life but I am too much careful and sorrowful now. It seems that she will die without me.
Just 2 months remains in our dream life.
But now I am scattered with tension. plz help me...

Physics question. Here is scenario: 2 syringes filled with air; one a 10cc, the other a 30cc; plunger surface areas about 0.22 and 0.44sq inches respectively; syringes held back to back with plungers touching each other; I force the 10cc syringe against the 30cc syringe and measure STATIC pressures at the exit ports using digital manometers. Pressures are different. Why does Pasqal's law not apply? Example: 10cc syringe reads 20psi when the 30cc syring reading 20psi (air in 10cc syring appears considerably more compressed).

i am in a CCC and different advisors give me mixed answers
on lets say the UC application for extracurricular activities is it true that only activities that are associated to the school like clubs and student government count? - thats what one advisor told me
i thought that extracurricular activities were activities that you do other than class. i learnt music since 3 till now and have other hobbies like practicing karate all my life. it takes up quite a bit of my time and does that mean all of them don't count?
she said they are only hobbies and do not count. doesn't 17 years of dedication mean anything at all?

i thought extracurricular activities were supposed to tell the admin more about you thats more to your grades. i thought music and martial arts would show me as a more well rounded person. but if they don't count doesn't that put me in the category of... whats the technical term for it... screwed?

Is a local rate number. just like our 0845 numbers in the UK.

LOCAL RATE.

Obviously it's an international number so from the UK would cost more than 5p per minute if you don't have a wireless internet connection with free internationals...

Also, it is a number for Spainish, Portuguese & North Africans to call locally. If Madeleine was spotted in say, Belgium, I am sure the person reporting it would not be worried about 5pence a minute. Think about it.. would 5pence a minute bother you if you saw Maddy?

He always comes up to me and say hello. Sometimes when he see me, and I look at him he pretend that he didn't see me. Do you think he likes me? And what should I do?

I heard somewere along the lines that a bloke in Europe had bought a property which had an extremely large garage that was welded up. Once he bought it the garage was opened to a vast amount of classic vintage cars that had been in storage for numerous years. Just wanted to see if any one has seen a link to this as after searching am still to find one.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
