When I started high school my parents began requiring that I wear a belt to school. I had to tuck in my shirt too. Fridays were free--I didn't have to wear a belt then. I also had to wear a belt to church on Sundays. As soon as I got home from school or church, I would take my belt off so I could be more comfortable. My parents thought it was a little strange--I never tried to hide the fact that I was doing this (I'd pull the belt off as soon as I walked in the door, sometimes my mom or dad would be there and see me), and I did it every day--but they never tried to stop me. Sometimes I would also untuck my shirt, but sometimes I would leave it in. Do any of you take your belts off after school? Do you also untuck, if you've been tucked in all day? What do your parents think?

For me it has to be the Olympics in Beijing and of course Wimbledon.

I hope the British athletes make us proud like our Rugby boys did last night.

Thank you

A's for arthritis,
B's the bad back,
C's the chest pains - perhaps car-d-iac?

D is for dental decay and decline,
E is for eyesight, can't read that top line!
F is for fissures and fluid retention,
G is for gas which I'd rather not mention.

H is high blood pressure - I'd rather it low;
I is for incisions with scars you can show...
J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend,
K is for knees that crack when they bend.

L is for libido, what happened to sex?
M is for memory, I forget what comes next.
N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;
O is for osteo, the bones that don't grow!

P is for prescriptions, I have quite a few, just give me a pill and I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasy, is it fatal or flu?
R is for reflux, one meal turns to two.

S is for sleepless nights, counting my fears,
T is for Tinnitus - there's bells in my ears!
U is for urinary... big troubles with flow;
V is for vertigo, that's "dizzy," you know.

W is for worry - NOW what's going 'round?
X is for X ray, and what might be found;
Y is another year I'm left here behind,
Z is for zest that I still have - in my mind.

I've survived all the symptoms, my body's deployed, and I am keeping twenty-six doctors fully employed!

I've been dating this guy for a few months and he has just told me he wants to visit a woman friend in another country. He tells me she is only a friend but I'm really worried as I don't know her and wonder why he has to do this. He met her when studying overseas a year ago and they've been in contact since. She visited him once (before we got together) and they've kept up the contact by chatting. Am I paranoid? I can't help feeling that if a man needs to visit a woman, he must have feelings for her. Any words of wisdom would help me.

I have felt that anger is really a non-productive emotion. No one can make you angry if you don't let the anger in. I realize that anger needs to be dealt with, and how we deal with anger affects our health.

Yesterday hubby made this comment: There is enough calcium in anger to give you a backbone.
