Maybe?
I have a friend that I have had for a while, online.
I think I would say I feel love for him.
In a nice kind of way.

sure why not ?
Plenty of people can't meet that are in love from chatting.
Many loves and marriages begin with chatting online without meeting at all.

You wonder how it can be love really ?

In fact you can love anyone at anytime. Because you choose who and what you want to love and why.

Love is just inside us, so it's a choice to feel it.

The sunset looks pretty, you see it and think it looks nice.

The feeling of it's beauty is felt by you because you invest your own feelings in the sunset colours.

The sunset is not feeling it.

It's only you that can feel it.

Love is in our heart the way that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You can depend on yourself for love as well.

To be honest, it can't really come from anything outside.

But you may choose to notice something that inspires you to feel it.

It's voluntary and sometimes it's an obligation.

'Love is like a bird, it can stay or fly away'

Best regards.

There are different aspects of love.
You can love someones voice, or the type of things they say.
Real love is far more complicated.
You cannot love someone you have not physically met.
I hope you meant to say someone you have never met in person. I expect that is what you are saying
If it was someone you had never met then the answer would be no because you have never met.

Id would say you can feel like you love them.
But until you know them much better you can then make a better judgment.
I thought I was in love with my first husband when i just met him.
I was married for 23 years, I should of left 20 years before that for within 3 I knew he didn't love me in return.
So things can be deceiving, so study and pray about it before you consent to loving someone.

Yes. I met my ex-boyfriend online and I've never met him or even talked with him over the phone, but we were able to love and trust each other deeply and unconditionally. So, it is possible that one can love someone whom he or she has never met. We're still great friends, by the way.

Yes-- there are lots of friends here I love that I have never met and probably never will.
Never meeting them "in the flesh" doesn't diminish my caring for them.
