I really like this guy who is a close friend of mine. He is a senior and I'm a junior. He is really funny and just amazing but today I found out he smokes. I'm not saying people who smoke are bad people, I just know a lot of people that have major medical conditions because of it. I care about him and I really don't want him to smoke. It is nasty and makes me gag and must of all ruins your organs. What do I say to try to convince him? I can't stand to see people I care about ruining themselves. Like how should I bring it up. He doesn't know I know he smokes..so yeah. Please help!

in march, i'll be 16 and my mum is bringing me to get a tattoo on my right shoulder, above the curve of my shoulder blade. i'm 5'2" and i'm not done growing, so when i grow, will it ruin the tattoo? or will it 'grow with me' like my mum said? here'sthe tattoo:

My married friend has been having an affair with a woman he really likes. But he always complains that she is moody, difficult, snobbish, and sometimes ignores him. But he also tells me that she loves him, and that when she is nice she gives him attention which he adores as he does not have it with his wife.
Lately, over an argument, he left her house in a hurry and she was so pissed off that she called his house at 4 in the morning! Repetitively, a million times. He answered (the whole house had woken up!) and she swore and insulted him and asked to 'speak to his wife' just to scare him.
He was so shocked that he did not know what to do.
Next day she calls and tells him she loves him, blablabla. He tells her that he can't get over what she did, and lost his trust in her.
What I don't understand is : he still calls her, and he tells me that she has many problems and she needs his help,. that he still cares for her, still loves her, but is confused what to do.
Why talk to her???

without insurance a company cannot legally do business so people are FORCED to pay insurance companies which are forced to pay taxes on their income, which means all insurance that is forced upon us is actually a debt to be earned which is term of slavery, for everyone that makes a lot of money they have to earn half of their income in service of paying taxes instead of their own income before they are free to KEEP their business. This part of paying taxes is the bondage and bondage is slavery.
I believe the banks have the other half of slavery in terms of mortage and interest in order to live in a home.

in the kingdom of God, Housing and mansions and Food and clothing are provided.
it takes labor in the service of the kingdom of God to build all these things therefore it takes People to be servants to build a kingdom that is built without MONEY where bread can be purchased without it

I mean this with all respect and hope for zero bashing.

I am a firm believer in God's promises, as found in the scriptures, that the pain and suffering we see today will end and a new order of peace and security will be ushered in. Mock it or not. That's your prerogative. I also am an avid follower of world events. Because of that, I sometimes wonder what gives those who do NOT believe in a higher power, hope that things will change...Hope that things will improve. Clearly nothing has worked until now.

This is not meant to insult or bash. I'm just wondering how you deal with ... well how you DEAL.

My puppy gunner is 10 months old and his eye is bloodshot red with a little goop in it and his other is starting to do the same. My vet cant get him in for a week and he is he only vet around here that will do a payment plan with me. I would take him in to a different vet but i dont have the cash to do so due to a financial emergency 3 days ago. I have been applying drops to his eyes but it doesnt seem to do anything nd he wont let me put a warm cloth on it or even near it. I have to hold him down to "try" to put the drops in. It is very sore and he will start nipping at you. He isnt usually like that. If you have any suggestions that you know for a fact wont hurt him...please let me know. keep in mind he is only 10 months old. I feel so bad because he is in pain and sleeping more than normal. HELP?

i am almost 100% sure that my boyfriend has antisocial personality disorder. every possible symptom of it, he shows. and some days he is completely fine and others, it can be very hard to communicate with him. he gets angry pretty easily and i think he has a hard time expressing emotion of any kind, other than anger. i care about him deeply, and have been with him for several years. i am wondering if anyone has had a good relationship with someone with this problem, or if you know anyone who has or if there are any good ways to communicate with them or get them to show emotion better. anything, really.

I see a lot of b-mothers who were told that they needed to do "what's best for thier baby"

You know give the baby to better people.

What if everyone having a child had to live to that standard... Angolina Jolie would have all of our children. Although I'm a great mother there's always "better parents" than us.

I know there is a true need for adoption, I've adopted. I would never have done it just 'cause someone wanted a "better home" for their baby. It needs to be because there's NOT EVER a suitable home.

title says it. i have a pedestal fan, that for the last few days has been making squeaky noises. now when i turn it on, it makes half a spin and then stops short. i can still hear the engine making an effort. when its not on i can make it spin smoothly. but when its on i cant make it spin easily since it stops at certain zones. i've cleaned it internally. and oiled it at the bearings.
