yes, I believe, and I was taught to believe as a young child, but it was not pushed on me. I have had things happen in my life that strengthens my beliefs. I don't really believe in organized religion though. I think that so many people are worshiping the same God in many different ways and should not judge someone because they don't worship the same way as they do.

Yes I believe in God. I was reared in the Roman Catholic church until I was 18 years of age and then I realized I did not know the Jesus that I heard about during a revival in Shreveport, LA. The Jesus I heard about was going to come back and gather unto himself those who accepted his gift of salvation. I used to have a problem with the scripture that says "It is not God's will than any should perish but that all should come to know him." I thought that I was prepared. But I realized I was not. My parents threw me out of the house when I became a "Christian." I thought we were Christians because we were Catholics. But my mom questioned my ability to pray her out of purgatory. The choice was mine. My parents did not affect my decision one way or the other.
The interesting thing happened the night my parents threw me out of their home. I was praying---I told God I couldn't understand how my parents could throw me out. That I didn't think that was His plan. Then I opened a bible that a friend had given to me and the scripture I read first---"HE WHO LOVES FATHER OR MOTHER SISTER OR BROTHER MORE THAN ME IS NOT WORTHY OF ME!" I closed the bible, turned off the light and never looked back.
Just my opinion. God Bless you.

yes ofcourse i believe in god..because there is a real proof in the qur'an that tells that god's always there and watching us....what leaded me to believe there is a god is our messenger mohammad + the Qur'an...if you were living in an islamic country you would have been taught islam in primary schools till high school. it's my parent's but if it wasn't then i would choose it myself since it is the right and safe religion

I wrote the reply on this question before. I tend to write longer than I should in explaining manner. I am tired. So this time I am posting the article written on God by a scholar with refrences of Verses of Quran on topic of God. Please read for your knowledge.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is He Who gives life and who takes it, and to Him shall you all be brought back.
O mankind! there has come to you a direction from your Lord God and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts,- and for those who believe, a guidance and a Mercy.
Say: "In the bounty of God. And in His Mercy,- in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. (The Holy Quran, 10:55-58)
"He makes you in the wombs of your mothers in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness."
(The Holy Quran, Chapter 39, verse 6, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) 14 centuries ago)
Read Embryology in the Qur'an
About 1400 years ago, in his last sermon, Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) said:
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white — except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefore do injustice to yourselves. Remember one day you will meet Allah and answer your deeds. So beware: Do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.”
"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?" (The Holy Quran, 21:30)
That is a good question. It actually started when I was young and my mother took me to church. I began to know more about the Lord. As I got older and learned about having a person relationship with God, I began to know for myself that surely God exist, He is real and there is no denying that. As I look back going to church was the start of my relationship with God.
*sighs* two words... "search function". Yahoo has it and this question is asked about 50 times a day. The answer will always be the same as it was before so asking it over and over again is just silly.
