yes, and with no disrespect to anyone, I think the people that don't are a little bit strange.
to come on a website which by definition is all about interacting with others, and then immediately try to restrict the chances for interaction, doesn't make much sense.

I do, and I don't care if people email me. I can choose to read them or not. I look through the bulk of my mail and things that look commercial get dumped. Most of the other get read though.

Yes. I do allow e-mails on Yahoo! Answers. I like to hear from my contacts from time to time. Even if all they do is just say "hi."

yes, because it's fun to get an email out of the blue from someone who wants to say hi...........unfortunately stalkers can too, but i just don't answer wierd emails.

sure i do! If someone wants more help (which has happened a few times), or if they'd like to chat (which also has happened), i see no reason why i shouldn't let it happen...on the same note though, i don't give out my email...it's hidden...*shrugs* compromise i guess
