I met a great guy online over a year ago and developed a great frienship and chemistry until things became physical during this past summer. We have acknowledged each others feelings and do have intentions to settlle down and not into playing games. I recently met his parents a few weeks ago. He has huge responsibilities on his shoulders: father diagnosed with 2 different cancers and starting chemo in a couple of weeks; he is the sole financial provider in his household; he attends college part-time. He always calls or comes to me if he needs to take a load off his chest and is also very close to his family. He had not called me in th past week. What I need advice on and true guidance for, I do not want any scenes from "Fatal Attraction" and I am not the "jealous" woman because anger is such a waste of energy and I do believe giving someone space when they need it. I've fallen. How do I still try to call, email, or text him on how he is without "appearing" desperate"?

I went about a block from my home to the local bank on returning and getting out of the van I noticed a "hissing" sound coming from beneath the van. There was steam coming from under the van not where the radatior is located. While driving the dashboard didn't light up of gave me any indication that the van was overheated. I put antifreeze and water in the radaitor but the liquid just leaked right back out from the underneath the raditor. I had my van checked a few months because I was having to constantly refill the radiator. I was told there was not a leak in the raditor but yet the thing kept losing fluid. It was not leaking into any other part of the engie I was told. My husband is deployed and I would like to know something about this issue before having to pay another mechanic . PLEASE HELP!!!! It is leaking from the undercarriage not anywhere near the raditor.

Why do so many of you use the King James Version for this? If you are going to take it literally, shouldn't you use something translated literally, like Richmond Lattimore's translation of the New Testament?

Lattimore is highly looked upon as the best modern translator of Ancient and Hellenistic Greek. He translated the Illiad, and his translation of that is considered the best English translation. Also, he was not a theologian so he didn't try to make the Bible say anything, he just translated.

So why, even non-Literal Christians, would you use the King James Version of the New Testament over Richmond Lattimores?

This isn't to bash anyone, I just don't get it. When I came across this translation I wondered why every English-speaking Christian doesn't use it.

I find myself constantly seeking intimate relationships with people whether they are in my best interest or not. At the same time I tend to build these relationships up to the point that I know I will only be hurt in the end, yet I continue on. I always feel happier when pursuing a relationship and the day to day irritations irrelevant. Early on I dont even see the chance of rejection as being possible, but in the back of my mind I feel its inevitable. I dont focus or get fixated on the fact that I will eventually be rejected and instead keep a positive outlook. Lately things have tended to end worse and worse than before and I cant help but wonder if I am subconsciously seeking this pain in order to achieve some self-destructive goal.

Am I simply hopeful or do I actually seek this letdown and the depression and pain that I see coming?

My friends uncle was an amateur scout for the Leafs at one time and was a scout for many different teams, like vancouver and stuff. does anyone know where i can find a list of all time amateur scouts for each team?

I'm going in this Thursday for an MRI and am thankful that it is coming up soon, because my cognitive thinking and vision seem to be getting worse everyday. For people who have been diagnosed with MS, did the MRI show that you have it, or were there other tests that needed to be done in addition?

I have a little brother. Theres nothing wrong with him and he looks ok. He's only in the 2nd grade. Then one day he showed me the girl he liked. I told him to talk to her. He then said "no I'm too ugly" I wondered why. Then I see him play with another kid and he always calls him butt head and ugly. Does the little kid mean it or is he just trying to be mean. I don't see how a little kid can just tell if someone is ugly unless they are deformed. And why are some little kids so mean and do this?

i recently landed a job with Ralph's (grocery store). I'm 17 and this is my first job.when i applied, i put down my hours, i would work from 6:00-10:00 PM .because i have school from 8:00-5:30.
the only problem is i realized half an hour does not give me enough time to get out from school, get to my job and change into my uniform. without risking being late. i'm meeting my manager tomorrow to go over some more paperwork and schedule my orientation. would it be really rude and irresponsible to ask if i can start at 6:30 instead of 6? if not what's the best way to tell him this? can anyone help this whole getting there and not having enough time is really stressing me out. thanks! okay so theres this cute guy whos a grade ahead of me. i see him every other day right b4 5th period and during 5th period...he looks at me and i look at him and sometimes he'll poke his head into our classroom and look at me and then start talking to someone in our class...hes really cute and just won homecoming prince and now hes a big target for other girls....should i even bother with him? and if i should how can i talk to him or get him to talk to me??? My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex in a hot tub and then 3 days later I got my period on time.But it was irregular.I hardly even bleed it was more like spotting for a few days.I always have a heavy period and a long one(5-6 days).I am not on the pill and he used the pull out method.I know this dosent prevent pregnancy.And we would both be excited if we were expecting.I would only be 2 weeks along. Could I be pregnant? I just have this feeling that I am.
