Here goes.
In Exodus, The plague that made Pharaoh let the people out of Egypt. The passover is derived from the passover lamb, yet another prophecy of Jesus' coming, the Isrialites were told by Moses to take a lamb without spot or blemish and kill it. they were to reserve the blood and spread it on the door frame to their house. When the spirit came thru and killed all the firstborn in the land that night, they Passed Over the doors with the blood of the pure innocent lamb that was slain. This is where Passover Truly comes from. Jesus did a lot of different thing on Passovers, but it is not the true origin of Passover. THIS is. They observed it from there on out. Read the exodus story. You will find it to be true.

passover is a Jewish hilliday, that some Christians abserve. it is the celibration of the time when God put a plegue on the land that would take the first born of every household, and The Jews that put lambs blood on the door seal were passed over, you can read the story in Exidus the second book in the Bible, one suggestion though, read it out of a NIV Bible, the language in the other versions is kind of hard to fallow.
