i personally am sick of those. its awkward, its like a job interview and its the same thing over and over. its like you're interviewing whether you like each other or not..dinner and a movie....cant ppl come up with something different? also its ridiculous how men always are expected to pay...they're not made of money, although its a gentleman thing to do, which i realize. and then women ''reach for the purse'' its so fake. dont you think guys know? lol
anyway, what is your opinion??

-My GPA stands as a Strong B+ (B+/A-)... My school has a diffrent scale then the 4.0 so it is difficult to convert exactly. But that's where it is on our scale. But I f Id had to guess it on the 4.0 scale then Id say it around 3.3-3.5
-My ACT composite score is 27 in one try
-I do a couple sports and a few clubs but im nothing spectacular in that regard.
-I have a very good personal essay because of my life story where I moved all around the world, lived through a war and got to where I am today. So hopefully colleges will apprecaite that.

I am applying to a lot of colleges because I need options. So which of the following do you think Ill get into?

I am one of 3 children. My parents split 15 yrs ago and I lived with dad. He remarried but his new wife made it clear that she wanted us out. Dad and I argued over it, but it was impossible to stay. We didn't speak for 13 yrs. My brother's are very close to dad and told me recently dad had a brain tumour. I rang him. His wife answered and hung up. I rang him in hospital and we chatted. He said I could visit but his wife found out & he was discharged a week early and taken home. He told me his wife did not want us to be in touch. We got back in touch via email and we started to correspond. He died last week. His wife has shut my brothers & I out. She won't tell us anything except that we are not welcome. There is to be no funeral service, no fuss. He will be cremated and she has yet to decide if she will tell us the date. He leaves a house (£250,000), 2 cars, insurance policies, & a pension. His wife has manipulated him and I fear she will get everything. Can I make a claim?

.. children weigh rather than just "parents who request it" in an effort to cut down on obesity.
Surely most parents weigh their own children anyway and know damn well if they are overweight.
I am all for school medicals and so on like we used to have (and that includes the nit nurse) but surely this is ridiculous?
