A beautiful passage of scripture, it is love. In it we see the Bridegroom coming for His bride. This imagery is of the great love between Christ and His beloved church

The passage is a spiritual portrait pointing to the LORD Jesus Christ.
On the mountains in verse 8, compare with Psalm 121. The mountain or rock is Christ.
The fig tree in verse 13 is parabolic of Christ's return, see Matthew 24:32,33 and Revelation 6:13.

The Song of Solomon is about Christ and his Church, the bride, notice the first verse of chapter 2, I AM the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys, Jesus is the Great I AM, No human can be the I AM or the Rose of Sharon. I love this book, Christ is our beloved and we are his. We are the apple of his, his unique creation. Praise the Lord!!!

Hey sister:)
Beautiful Passage
Songs of Solomon 2:8-13
The voice of my beloved, Now he comes
Leaping upon the mountains
Skipping upon the hills
My beloved is like a gazelle or a young hart
Now he stands behind our wall
He is looking through the window
He is glancing through the lattice
My beloved responds and says to me
Rise up my love My beautiful one and come away
For now the winter is past
The rain is over and gone
FLowers appear on the earth
The time of singing has come
And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land
The fig tree has ripened its figs
and the vines are in blossom- they give forth their fagrances
RIse up my love
My beautiful one and come away!
wow
This book is probably one of the strongest types of Christ and the Church in the bible. Solomon and his Shulamite.
Her name is the feminine for Solomon:)
This shumalite goes through so many experiences in this book.
In this portion you sited she is at the stage of learning how to deny the self by her oneness with the Cross. SHe can only do this by the power of Christ's resurrection. The leaping and skipping signifies CHrist's power to overcome difficulties and barriers. ( mountains and hills)
Christ being like a gazelle and young hart signifies that His power is the power of Resurrection.
We know sister in our own experiences that the only way to endure the cross and have the Holy Spirit deal with the self and all the things of Adam in us is through the Power of Christ's resurrection.
In vs 9
In the first stage of her porgressive experience of Christ , the Lover of CHrist pursues Him, receiving help in the fellowship of the inner chambers. As the Church, the Shulamite experiences transformation and enters into satisfaction with her Lord.
The windows and lattices signify the openings set up by God for fellowship with Him.. to commune with those that love Him. The Conscience , the leading function of our spirit, in us is the window with a lattice, which is open for God to come in and contact us. May we always have our conscience sprinkled with the Blood Of Jesus so that it can be so clear and transparent. In this way we can enter into deeper sweet fellowship with teh Lord Jesus.
Vs 10 At first when Solomon, as a type of Christ spoke to his beloved the first time she did not respond, making it necessary for Him to speak a second time. THis was because of the Shulamite's introspection and looking at all the faults in herself.. she is down and saddened in her situation. We all have that kind of situation don't we sister. But Our Lord encourages us, In His apprecation he appreciates us and urges us to rise up and come out of our low sitiation to be with Him.
vs 11...The winter.. the time of dormancy adn trials ( rain) is over and that the time of resurrection ( spring) is coming!!! Hallelujah!!
vs 12... The flowers, singing and the voice of the turtledoves, the ripening figs, blossoming vines and fragrance indicate the flourishing riches of our Lord in His resurrection. THe life of the cross is lived out sister BY the power of our Lord's resurrection. and we are encouraged while enduring the cross and dealing with the self by the riches of Christ's resurrection. We are so blessed to have such a type in the Bible as a picture of all the stuff that we go through in our spiritual progressive growth in the Lord.
May the Lord truly have a way to show us more and more.
That we will not just look at ourselves and condemn ourselves for our own shortcomings.. but that we will look away unto Jesus .. the author and perfector of our Faith.
I hope I did not confuse you too much sweet sister
I'll email you a really good link that goes into much detail of this matter :)

Nothing, there is isn't any holy spirit.
As for that story, it's a homosexual story. The Bible contains plenty of that nonsense.
