I'm curious about this therapy. I hope to get some answers from people who have tried it. I've done a little bit of research but haven't come up with too much on it and find that the success rate varies from clinic to clinic. The one here claims a 95% success rate and another (I'm not sure of the location) boasts a mere 60%.

"how can you say that the universe developed on its own?" think about it, why is it impossible for the universe to develop on its own, but possible for the "creator" who actually "created" all of it in the first place. out of the universe and God, i would think if there is a God, then he has to be more complex than the universe, right? my point is that it doesnt make sense to say it is impossible for the universe to develop by random chance and to say it is not impossible for something even more complex, God to develop randomly or to have been around forever. anyway, this isnt a rant, just a thought. what do you think?

I always hear things like "A huge majority of scientists support evolution" and I know this is true, but I am curious, how many of them are directly involved in the study of it? Like obviously evolutionary biologists and maybe some geologists indirectly learn about the idea (by producing facts on the "millions of years" thing). So what percentage of scientists would actually fall into a category where their work is directly based on evolutionary theory.

Several months ago, an Al-Qaida supporter was charged with helping terrorists attack non-muslim tourists in the muslim country of Indonesia. (Indonesia is the same country that Borak Obama spent a large portion of his childhood). That one attack left 88 Australians dead. A total of over 160 tourists were killed.

A Poet From The Moon
Written By Semper Fi Reborn

I was downtown Newark, N.J.,
Corner of Broad and Market in fact.
When the first ship arrived,
Causing my whole face to go slack.

The streets cleared fast,
There were folks hurdling other folks to run by.
One second I'm ordering a hotdog,
And a UFO appears in the sky.

Out of it's speakers,
Came voice that soothed like a croon.
That's the first time we on Earth,
Heard the poet from the moon.

My question is really this: would we be better off living spiritual lives with our own understanding and relationship with God or do we need to follow an organized religion? I am not trying to bash organized religion, but it seems divisive to say the very least. Each one seems to "know" the path to salvation and the others are all doomed.

Seems a tad egotistical doesn't it?

A lot of what I've written recently isn't appropriate for YA. This one is, but if you can't handle religious content please stop reading now. It is not my desire to upset anyone. This was a parable I attempted on a workshop site. Please let me know what you think?

Logos

The flavor you are trying to describe
is found in the seeds
of the pomegranate,
mixed with moonlight, and tears. You will never
forget this taste. I pity you.
Everything will be less
vibrant now—everything will be…
less.

If you had asked:
How are we alike?
How could I deny you?
The stars would still be your blanket.
The garden still soft beneath your feet.

No. I would not have said love—that is not
the image you bear. The sword still spins
to protect this creation from your harsh love.
A love that would crush the Jay in its hands
The blood sings from the ground to Me—
not for vengeance—but in awe.

Does that give you a clue?

I am a Namer. I create with words.
What was light before I said it?
Was it conceived?
You are also a Namer. I would not
take that from you though
your tongue has turned black.
You create also. You do more than define:
The thought gives birth to the word; the word precedes the act.
What was murder before you said it?
You have continued to name

Deceit
Fear
Shame

Each word creates and confines. You still lack patience.
You will not hear me. My words will no longer strive
with your limited vocabulary.
I leave you one word behind.

Hope

It didn’t exist before I said it.
At the proper time you must scream it
to the hills and look up.
You will find Me waiting there,
I never left.
For I too am a Namer,
and I AM patient.

if so, which types of procedures have you had? what age did you start feeling old and didn't exactly like what you saw in the mirror and felt insecure? if not, do you plan to get any plastic surgery later and what specifically? whether they are minor or major improvements/enhancements,etc, name them? did it drastically change the way you feel? are you addicted to plastic surgery? what do you think about old people that get plastic surgery? (mainly for vanity purposes, not so much referring to necessary procedures in my question.) do you think it helps their confidence to stay youthful or are they in denial about their age? do you think these old people are as shallow/superficial as the young people that get plastic surgery? and all other opinions? thanks.
