You should be on ESPN with an overhyped statement like that!
LOL...wow...best game in NFL history? Instant Classic (before the game is even played)?
Yep...ESPN is calling you sonny!

Spy gate has nothing to do with the spread or the emotion going into this game. The real question here is whether the Jets D can hold the Pats under 40. I believe the Jets good for 17 so the D needs to deliver for the cover to occur. I'd bet the overs if the number is <60. I'd stay away from the pick.

Yeah, the game has yet to be played. It may or may not be a good game.
At either rate, I pick the Patriots over the Colts. Both teams are very good, but to me the Patriots have the Colts beat on both an offensive and defensive front. On Offense, Brady's receiving core rivals that of Mannings. While both Brady and Manning have very good offensive lines, Brady will come out on top because he is more accurate. And the reality of it is, the Patriots put up more points. On defense, the Patriots have the edge for sure. They have great playmakers who are able to make the plays when needed. Coach Bellicheck is an amazing defensive coach, and his defensive schemes should even confuse Manning. The colts defense isn't bad, and they have certainly improved over the past couple of years. But overall, they still aren't any better than average, and they are quite a bit worse than New Englands D. While both coaches are great, Bellicheck is a bit better than Dungy overall at preparing for a game and really abusing the opponents' weaknesses. I think the difference in this game will be the Patriots defense stepping up and forcing mistakes on the Colts offense.

Sorry, the best game in NFL history was the Ice Bowl (Cowboys vs. Packers). It is considered by many as the best game ever played in the league. It was the NFC Championship and it was played in Green Bay Wisconsin. Conditions were bitterly cold at the time so the football players had to play in freezing conditions and with snow blowing at their face. Amazingly, both of these teams played some of their best football. The Packers just barely won that game.
I'm hoping for Ice Bowl #2 this post season. And this time, the Cowboys will prevail!

nbaballe..., Id say the Pats. Although they both have high-powered offenses, I just don't think the Patriots can be stopped. With the addition of Moss, they're unstoppable. Pats - 45 Colts 35. May the best team win.

Its definetly going to be an great game, but I don't know about the greatest in history. I think its getting more hype than it should. I can't wait to see watch but anytime two great teams play i can't wait to watch.
I have to say, because I am a pats fan, i will have to go with the pats winning because I always say they are going to win ,even when they have had terrible years and I knew there was no chance of them winning :)

It should be a great game.
I go back and forth on who's gonna win, but tonight I'd say the Colt's will win because they have home field. It's just that close for me.
