This society is at cross purposes with NATURE when it comes to the question of "legal adult age". The normal human begins to feel the DESIRE for a sexual union FAR earlier in their life than what the LAW says is ALLOWED. This holds true for BOTH men and women.The law says that a person OVER 18 should not,,and may not,,have a physical relationship with any other person that is UNDER the age of 18. How FAR is it from OVER 18 to UNDER 18??? ANSWER=It could be just ONE DAY! Today I am 17 and my girlfriend is also 17,,,,HER birthday is NEXT WEEK and then she will be 18. MY birthday is TOMORROW!!! I WILL BE 18! Am I now a CRIMINAL just because I had my birthday a week earlier than my girlfriend???????????? I happen to be 22 years older than my wife!!! We are both extremely happy together.No legilation can control love!

I find that it's a bad combination. I was 16 and dating a 30-some year old man and ended up getting pregnant. That's a huge responsibility for a teenager!
